Did TO's Party impact the game?

Do you honestly think Parcells reports everything to the media? Do you honestly think the coach did not ask TO about the incident? They professionals; however they are also human as well. This group is close and they do not tell all to the media who has made a habit of twisting words and false reporting.

That is what TO said in his interview when asked about the accidental OD, Irvin asked what did Bill say to you TO responded nothing, he did not ask how I was or anything Irvin then said nothing and TO respond nope nothing. That is not twisting that is taking a comment from the person himself not second hand unnamed sources. You can blame the media all you want but that came from the horses ars I mean mouth.

Owens said Parcells never mentioned it. That baffles me.

and if he had mentioned it, then suddenly he's involved and *has* to do something. he's in a no-win situation here and people still expect one thing or the other.

I agree that Bill not saying anything to the media was the right thing to do. Not saying anything to TO himself (At least according to TO) is different.

and if he had said something to TO then *now* TO would be saying "parcells said this and that and some of this, and he doesn't like that, and i don't need a coach who's on my arse all the time..."

play it all out - not just what would be "good".

One of your players is rushed to the hospital, and you don't even ask him about it ??

Lame, there is no excuse.

maybe not to you - even me to be honest.

That would be the case if Parcells would have come down but then why would you come down on a guy who had an accidental OD? I may be a critic of TO but I was not down on him for this incident so I don't see why Bill would have been. I don't know what Bills feelings are about TO but the relationship clearly does not look like anything I saw when Bill was dealing with LT, Cox or Keyshawn. Then again even though these guys were looked at as problem players they played well for Bill and showed Parcells a lot of respect.

It was obvious he was OK by the time he made it back to Valley Ranch.

It was obvious that TO had probably told a thousand people, or million if you count viewers, that he was ok.

I see no reason to ask again when TO just got done saying he was ok to the world and his team mates.

Best thing IMO is to say, it is done, over with, he says he is ok, he appears ok, let's put it behind us and get ready for the game.

Really IMO if you had any beef with Bill over that issue than I would think it would be when he was telling the media that he really had no knowledge of the situation, which IMO was pure BS.

TO seemed to be a bit miffed when he told this to Irvin in the interview.

I know nobody cares, but if I am the coach and I hear that one of my players was rushed to the hospital, but it turns out it was a misunderstanding and he is OK now.

I walk over to him during practice, just him and me, and I say something like, "do ya got your meds straightened out now?" as I smile, then whatever he says, because he is probably embarassed by this, I say, "are you OK now?"

He says, "yep".

I pat him on the butt, and as I walk away, not even looking at him I say, "I'm glad."

Took 15 seconds.

End of story.

TO is also a drama queen and a person that seems to have very little self esteem no matter how much he acts like he does.

You sure do use an elaborate ruse in order to achieve your real goal....pat the player on the butt.

;) :p:

OK, it just seems that most of the time "certain" players are being held to different standards.

That is what aggrivates me, no matter who the player is.

As long as everyone is treated the same.

Hmmm, you woulda hated this one guy that used to coach our team then... I think his name was Jimmy Johnson or something like that.
