Did we finally find our Charles Haley?

I remember a story I heard about Haley when he was with the 49ers. He was offered a contract and pooped on the contract and walked out. I had 2 thoughts. 1, apparently he did not want to sign the contract, maybe a simple "no thanks" would have been good. 2, that's amazing he can just poop on command like that.

Don’t mean to be a buzz kill, but let’s let him play in a couple of real NFL games before we anoint him “the difference maker” or one of the greatest of all time. Parsons hasn’t even reached Antonio Bryant level yet.
Does anyone know where Rico is these days???:omg:

Only time will tell if Parsons develops into the level of success that Charles Haley commanded. Hopefully, Micah Parsons might manage to control himself sufficiently to develop his skills in the pro game enough to attain that level of play. Let's also see how well the coaching staff and Dan Quinn, in particular, can best utilize Parsons' skills. I hope this team's defense produces a vastly improved pass rush in 2021. It's quite possible. ;)

That whole scene where he’s dancing around his teammates and head butting them was definitely awkward

Randy White was not around at that point in Haley's life ;-)

Then I guess it was a good thing they did not tank for a better draft pick then. :muttley:

Though they still could have traded down, and picked up a 1st or 2nd rounder and still got Parsons. Or they could have just selected Pitts.

Anyway I just thought I would jokingly mention the tanking sometimes does not pay off.

think about it............could have traded back twice and picked up another 1st rounder at least with guys trading up for a qb. No I do t agree.

Parsons is an animal. Cant believe we got him. Best defensive player in the draft. EXACTLY what this defense needed.

Anyone still out there that still would have taken Pitts over Parsons for THIS team?
I was pounding the table for this kid since November lol. I am over the moon he has the star on his helmet. We need to thank Denver and Carolina lol

i get very god vibe from him both his personality drive , and add his play style and physical traits its easy to see his upside is elite..i hope he can achieve this for sure..

given the desperate need for an identity on defense he comes at the perfect time to take that role and add the other pieces this year like mentioned Gregory will have his best year, and Diggs and secondary very young, all we need to do is have that middle of the DL step up and this will be light years ahead of the last few seasons..

this will take sometime but if we can just be middle of eh pack on total defense this season say 15th with our offense and some luck health wise , well good things could happen.

i don’t know about y’all but after watching hard knocks and seeing Parsons I def got a Charles Haley vibe both personality and play style.

Any of y’all feel the same?
You don't want him like Haley in terms of personality.

I've never read more disturbing things about a player than what Haley used to do in the locker room.

Wow. And no, I can't really provide details here and stay within the forum rules, so you'll have to research it yourself.

Too early to call him Haley. We need to wait until he whips little Micah out and drops it over the shoulder of teammates during meetings before he can be compared with Charles Haley.

Not a bad comparison. I think he can develop into what I have seen of Haley. However, let's tap the brakes. He's played 1 preseason game.

He might have been more inclined to sign had he pooped beforehand.
