Parsons is an animal. Cant believe we got him. Best defensive player in the draft. EXACTLY what this defense needed.

Anyone still out there that still would have taken Pitts over Parsons for THIS team?

Never heard that one. He was unique and unstable.

I've heard stories about Charles walking up to a team mate in the shower and grabbing their 3rd leg and parading them around the locker room. I don't think he can be replaced in that area. Parsons is the breath of fresh air this franchise has needed. If Jerry would have drafted one of the corners at this point I would have lost it!

I’m excited about Parsons for sure. But as Parcells used to say, “let’s not get the anointing oil out just yet”.We won’t know what these rookies will be until the regular season is well under way. This is hype season. Not the regular season.

Sure, but our offense is already top 3 if not #1 in the NFL and we needed defense. So Parsons was the guy.

Yes I do. You had to keep the other teams Defense off the field to score of those points. How do you not know this. Even Troy Aikman said it. We don’t get those rings without Him. He was the difference beating San Francisco to even get to play buffalo

Pitts was a fantasy, but Parson was the right pick....KC was averaging about 35 pts/game in 2018 and didn't make it to the big dance, the next year, they strengthened their defense, offense averaged about 28 and they won the big game....

i've said this before...he'll fulfill the "what could've been" legacy of "hollywood" henderson but for a longer period.
he's his own man and i'm excited to watch what he'll make of it.

Throw in Bohanna, Gallimore, Urban, and a healthy LVE, and we have several more “impact” players on this D. We were what, about 30th on run D and 24th on pass? Just speculating, as we all are, but 15th and 12th maybe?

I think (and hope) Parsons will eventually be our true leader on defense.
Sean Lee like field general who not only gets teammates in proper place and position, but also provides a motivational factor and presence.

One who can call his teammates over on the sidelines, when the going gets tough and confusion and despair presents trouble yet has the commanding presence
to rejuvenate and re-start the focus and effort among his team.

Some leaders are vocal, some lead more by performance .. in due time, we'll see if Parsons becomes both.

Not Haley. Parsons is our Urlacher. Our Howley. He's not the sack master, he's the guy that's all over the field. Ray Lewis type.

And the good part is, very very high floor. At worst, he's a good solid LB. At the very worst.
