Did we make a mistake in re-signing Gallup?

Yes yes yes we know he's just coming back from an injury. I understand we don't have anything of relevance after him. Could we have used that money to get someone else? If he's not confident fully, maybe he shouldn't be playing. Did some good things last game, ready to see more.

If said WR were to come here, what then happens to his touches??

I would say any player you sign in confidence that the injury is going to heal. Is a loss. But you take that risk and I didn’t mind taking that risk in a guy like Gallup. He has some tremendous upside when he is on the field detention true best high pointing pass catcher we have on the roster.

Yes, shouldve seen more post injury before pulling the trigger.

Another Jones and co blunder.

I agree with you but in this case, Gallup was a free agent. No way of telling how much he was healed.

I'll tell you that answer end of season. Gallup certainly doesnt look like Gallup, but if he can get back to normal and making plays the back half of the year and into the playoffs no one will care about the slow start.

Yes. Gallup not really ever the healthiest who was our #3 coming off an acl tear vs a true #1 who has made our qb 10 times better than he really is never missed multiple games and the age isn’t much of a difference. East decision if your not a hillbilly sausage eater.

Yes. He's a JAG in every sense of the word. Injuries aside. He will amaze you once in a blue moon with a beautiful toe-tap sideline fingertip grab but that's about it. Year 6 and still doing the body-catch thing.

He signed lower then market level as a #2 receiver. Some players take much longer to heal from an acl injury. Gallup will only get more healthier as the season progresses. Everyone is always here to be negative, but as soon as Lamb was drafted, the writing was on the wall that 1 out of the 3, would be gone. They decided to go with youth.

I was surprised at how much we gave him.

I like bringing him back but we overpaid.

They made the mistake of not signing Cedric Wilson. He had a good rapport with Dak!
