Did we make a mistake in re-signing Gallup?

Cooper looks fine and isn't running the wrong route multiple times causing multiple picks.

You say the wrs we have are good enough yet we are exploring obj, just signed Calloway.

Gallup can't separate since the injury and teams have shut down brown.

Fine isn’t worth 23 million…….bye bye coop

Gallup has been worth it?

You're missing the point. Cooper wasn't the problem and the Cowboys were better with him. After Lamb we have nothing.

Over Cooper easily. Amari was better and not coming off a year long injury recovery time table. Now Gallup is a shell of himself.

Gallup is a 5 year deal genius.

your missing the point. Cooper costs 23 million……bye bye
Which we could afford this year. Instead we ship him for a 5th and have regretted it since.

Example: trying to trade for 30 year old cooks at the deadline
Trying to get obj
Signing Callaway

You said our wrs were fine. They aren't. We have 1 wr worth anything whil we wait and hope Gallup gets back from his injury.

5th rounder was stupid. But paying an oft injured 900 yard receiver another 3 years at 23 million per was an easy punt. Especially with a stud like lamb better and ready to take over as a real #1.

Both can be good, and both would have complimented each other. Amari playing with a backup qb all season and only 100 yards behind.

The price tag wasn't too big this year. Getting rid of him weakened the team and we are halfway through the season still scrambling for a solution.

By the way Gallup is often injured and we paid him good.

This thing that he's "working his way back" - folks, this isn't 1995 anymore. He's had enough time to adjust to the game and if he's not "100%" he needs to be benched because he shouldn't be having any issues with that knee at this point.

Yes yes yes we know he's just coming back from an injury. I understand we don't have anything of relevance after him. Could we have used that money to get someone else?

Maybe use Gallup's money and Schulz's money to *keep* someone else two levels above them in talent?

This is not hindsight. I and many others said this at the time.

If said WR were to come here, what then happens to his touches??
Looks that way this year. Maybe not next year.
