Did we start tanking yesterday?

The defense has no playmakers in the secondary and has low depth across the board. The Packers offensive scheme led to the defense being tired trying to bring down a bowling ball(Lacy) and another back in Starks. Combine that with our offense, once again, sputtering to get first downs, the second half collapse was all but secured. When defenders get tired, the first thing they lose is technique.

For all the success and good moves last year, it has all erased in the 2015 off season and season.

1. You could almost predict Dez. Contract holdouts usually lead to an injury plagued, non-impact year
2. Relying on Joseph Randle to be the lead back, not drafting anyone. McFadden has been ok, but no difference maker
3. The offensive line is overrated. Bill Callahan is an excellent coach and his absence shows
4. Greg Hardy - not only are you disrupting the locker room, but he is nowhere close to being a top impact player - will be nice to see him go
5. Speaking of the line, didn't we (we included) predict 40 sack season? They still can't get to the QB
6. Not having a good enough back up QB. Romo is past his prime, and is more likely to get injured than make it through a season
7. Again showing when they have success, they cannot sustain in for another year
8. Bad news - 2014, things lined up. Dez, Romo, best years behind them. Sorry no SB for this crew
9. Jason Witten - love him, great Cowboy and hate to say this, has to be the player with the least meaningful 1000 catch career - I don't blame him though.
10. Garrett's message is lost. No playoffs in 2016 should mean his exit as head coach next year

Right after they saw the Commanders/Eagles win....it was all for the draft pick.Tell tell signs like McClain tapping out.....Refusing to play the other QB after Cassell struggled. The lack of blitzing on defense. Playing soft in coverage....the really poor tackling. Jerry, Stephen and the Ginger will say the politically correct things in the media....but I think your starting to see they are already playing for 2016.... and the high draft pick. ..

Yep. They have been in close games with mediocre teams and destroyed by good teams (GB, NE, Carolina). The only "good" team they played close was Seattle and they had not hit their stride yet.

Our D was run over late by GB after being on the field forever. That's pretty much how it goes down for anyone if your O can't sustain drives.

That's not tanking. It is having nothing left in the tank.
