And of course those fans got sucked right in. The 4-3 is a great fit. It's an easier defense to learn, so injuries won't be as much of a factor. Players can come in off the street and play it. Remember that? As if you build your defensive philosophy around the rare rash of injuries you suffered in 2012.

We took a step back there and another step back handing the play calling to Bill Callahan. Who is not, in any way, a better offensive mind than Jason Garrett.

This is why it's a playoffs or bust year for Garrett. He's the remaining untouched set of deck chairs on this sinking ship. The fan base will fail in line blaming yet another coach for the sins of the owner and his first born son.

Never said I missed Ryan my friend. Turnovers are the only thing keeping the defense tenable. The problems on defense are not limited to the dline only. Safety play is still substandard and Carter is still a question mark, having been benched. They will get their chance to get after it Sunday night. It looks like Ware, Hatcher, Selvie and Brown are all good to go. I think that the four of them together should be interesting. However, I am not sure that Hatcher will be his usual self for the entire game. Perhaps they should sit him until after the bye to totally heal him up.

I'm certainly not a fan of the Ryans, but that doesn't sound like my style. I do remember you being really offended by something I said about Rob or Buddy Ryan at some point, so I'm sure it was something good.

And I'm also sure you're right that many posters who share your...sensibilities...feel that many of my posts are ridiculous. I have to admit, I'd be disappointed if they felt otherwise given how much time I spend explaining why so many of the arguments some of you guys choose to believe aren't very sensible.
