Had not heard this . They were using him as a blocking black on some running plays . And I assume Lewis gone for the yr.

What some on this board term as “ jags “ know nothing about football . Guys like Farniok and Lewis play important roles . An NFL roster is not 47 # 11’s . In Lewis case Bland slides in but KJ has to fill a void now get more reps then maybe the coaches want .

Abd with Farniok now you dip into the PS for an UDFA because at 40 Peters can’t be the sole depth at G .

You call up Lindstrom because he can play guard and center.

You sign a vet if available. If not, you finally get Alarcon a chance at reps.

Dallas has two practice squad players that can play guard and center, Alec Lindstrom and ex-Seahawk Dakoda Shepley. My guess is they call up Lindstrom since he's been here longer and was already active once earlier this season.

Feel bad for Farniok though.

I think they will call up both. But Shepley has played in 9 games and has some NFL experience

Think he's the natural progression since we need a center backup for games. Might be able to handle that fullback role as well. Probably if we lost Biadasz, we'd be more comfortable moving McGovern to center and playing Peters at guard.

Forgot that Shepley can play both.

Shepley as FB in Jumbo package would be interesting.

Moving Shepley up would be the smarter/better decision. He already has pro experience playing both Guard and Center. Plus, he's very aggressive...which is what we need.
