Trade for Teven Jenkins already!!!
Cowboys should entertain a trade offer. Jenkins would be a beast and an upgrade.

Lisfranic injury had surgery yesterdayWhat happened?
Torn hamstring on extra point try .my bad bout earlier reply was thinking I was responding to someone elseWhat happened?
We got to be getting pretty thin on the OL behind our starters . He’s out 6 weeks?
Damn. Not good. This is going to affect our Oline. Cowboys might need to look to trade for an Olineman.
Peters is too fat, old and slow.we are not trading for a Farniok like backup player .Geez why do you guys just go apes panicky for trades when backups and 3rd stringers gets hurt ?
as Farniok was the primary backup center, we will. likely pull up an Lindstrom up from practice squad ...
Dunno if Philbin trusts McGovern enuff to flex to center in a spell. . with Peters taking over at LG.

Pretty much this is it for him. He’s been on the PS for multiple seasons now. His exemption runs out this offseason. With the depth this thin at OG, if he doesn’t get the call, he’s pretty much done in Dallas.Issac Alarcon
You have to be nimble and fast enough to pull on traps, sweeps or getting into the 2nd level to blocks LBs or DBs. I don't see how Jason Peters can do that anymore at the age of 40.for OG ?
Peters will start rest of year at LG barring injury.
ya slim pickings for sure.someone from practice squad will be brought up Id imagine.Looks to be McGovern for right now as a starter, .. they are gradually getting Peters ready thru small taps and snaps at LG.
My question is who will be the backup behind Peters at OT, should he be injured himself ?
Josh Ball ?... Yikes !!

Have you seen his performances with the Cowboys? Not so good other than the run blocking where he used his girth to shield out a blitzing LB from getting to Pollard on an off Tackle run to his side against the Giants.if he cannot do that at OG, where it's practically playing inside a phone booth spacing, then he will also just as useless with movement concerns if he is at OT.
i doubt the Cowboys would have even bothered if they were concerned about his age ,..as a backup utility guy.
Despite his current age Peters is still plenty athletic
I take it you don't think Tyron plays at all this year?Peters will start rest of year at LG barring injury.

More reason why at his age, he shouldn't be playing OG.He's only had a handful to limited of snaps in spot play at OG. That's why they are "gradually' working him as an OG.
Not like he's been an OG all his life in the NFL.

No, it's because at his age, one can see how big, heavy and less mobile he is. It's all on video(s) this season...or the Cowboys should have signed an 40 yr old player .... period ?
Sounds like you'll have your mind made up cuz of his age, regardless.
