It's funny now that everyone realize that he cannot throw, when I noticed this last year. The guy is not a pocket QB that we need. He cannot throw the fade, deep ball, deep outs, etc. He doesn't have the zip.

So many people on his jock last year. Dak over Wentz theory was a joke.

Or maybe the Eagle's front office giving wentz several weapons like Alshon Jeffries, Jay Ajayi, Bluont, and a solid defense actually has an effect on the quarterback. Oh wait, no wentz is doing it all by himself... maybe the Eagles also have a head coaching advantage as well.

Did anyone watch the defense today? And you think this is Dak's fault? Really? Let's have an honest discussion here....tell me the real reason you don't want Dak to be QB for the Cowboys. Because some of you are THINKING that he's not a good QB is not it. And I have yet to hear one analyst that think he's not. So, let's be honest here.

He doesn't have zip but he's thrown more tight window completions than anyone. Newsflash!!!!!! Tight window passes needs LOTS of Zip!
You are absolutely blind if you’re trying to say Dak has a good arm. The next time he drives a ball will be the first.

And no, tight windows don’t need zip. Drew Brees would have retired years ago if you did.

The problem with this coaching staff is NO adjustments. NO scheming. Romo even alluded to such when he said Garrett isn't an X and Os type of guy. Our whole system is predicated on having elite talent, specifically at the run game. When you take a couple of guys off the team, namely Ezekiel Elliott and Sean Lee, the team implodes. Couple that with a front office that refuses to do anything in free agency anymore and you have a team that is a bad draft or a couple of injuries away from being 8 and 8 or worse like you're seeing this year.

If you don't think you need to have a zip on the ball to fit the it in a tight window then you've NEVER played the position in your life. Try throwing a floater into a tight window.....GUARANTEE it's intercepted or batted down....every time. And yes...Dak does have a good arm. Try something else.

Zeke rushed for 200 yards & a 3TD's for the close comeback against Green Bay in last years playoff game? Ohh yeah that was Dak!

I thought Daks entire rookie season was outstanding. Unfortunately, rookie year are not good indicator of future success. 2nd years are most telling for QBs.

He has plenty of zip, he just isn't accurate. I actually feel more confident on his passes when he is on the move, than his pocket throws.

If Dallas has the prerequisite of needing a QB who can, ”elevate the scrubs”, maybe the biggest weakness the team has doesn’t even set foot on the field.

People were plenty quick to point out that Romo never had a strong defense, quality OL, or good supporting cast.

Now people seem just as eager to ignore the fact that Dallas doesn’t have a defense that is any better than what Romo had and that Dallas’ supporting cast is every bit as weak as Romo’s was.

The only thing Dak has that Romo didn’t is the OL, half of which has been out for multiple games.

Whatever improvement there is to be had between Dak and any other QB out there probably isn’t enough to produce a title. The rest of the team is bad. End of story.

Front office hasn’t competed in free agency on 5-6 off seasons, they burn quality picks on lottery players, and they have absolutely no idea how awful their coaching staff’s schemes are.

Dallas does not have a QB issue. Dallas had a horrible management issue.

That defense you are talking about held them to 3 points in the first half. They have begged the offense to score some points. What do you expect from a defense when the offense can’t score more than 7 points? They are bound to break.

Drew Brees is a great QB but his WR are wide open most of the time. He actually plays in a real system where they get their WR open. Dak ,on the hand plays, in JG's Tecmo Bowl offense.

Honestly, the QB is always under the microscope. So their mistakes are magnified.
Dak has a terrible habit of not setting his feet to throw. He didn't set when he over threw Williams for the 2pt attempt.
And probably his worst pass, the pick 6 near the end, he failed to set his feet again.
Dak also is struggling to make the correct reads. For example, Witten was open in the end zone on that pick 6.
That's not hate. It's just the truth. I love Dak as a player and hope to see him evolve. He needs to work on
his mechanics and work on certain types of throws and reads.

Side note: I was a big Dorsett fan back in the day. That run was a work of art.

So we ditched Romo for a QB that has bad mechanics and cant make simple reads unless he has the best RB in the league standing behind him?

Nice:rolleyes:
