Different grading scales

There was another post I saw discussing how ridiculous the sport shows are when discussing the Cowboys. Well I just saw a headline from Chris Simms podcast saying "The Broncos show they are a super bowl caliber team." uhm.... what? I think the Broncos are solid.... but they have Bo Nix at QB.

Had Dallas Beat the Iggles in the opener, do you think anyone would be saying that about the Cowboys?

I personally dont care what anyone says, as they dont know anymore than we do about outcomes of games. The NFL is what it is, an absolute roller coaster ride that requires some luck, health, and a stud qb. My point is just that if you just accept the fact that everything said about this team is done for one purpose.... to get eyeballs on their content, then you can just shrug and walk away without giving the BS a 2nd thought.

I am going to the Denver game in a few weeks, and right now, I am damn excited about this. Isnt this what this team and sport is about? enjoying the moment?

Enjoy the season, and dont get too caught up in where football is in your life. I went to the Packer game at AT&T last week. About an hour after I arrived in Dallas, I got a call from my wife telling me she had been admitted to the hospital. about 3 hour laters she was having surgery because she had a pulmonary embolism that could have killed her.

i think and its not a reflection of you, in my opinion the bar for SB material is very low and the sports shows, sports themselves know they are looking at the beginging of the end.

I see Denver as an up and coming team. And Bo Nix could be the real deal. Tough division . We’ll see but certainly wouldnt discount them. Not yet anyway. And they have a great offensive mind as coach.

I would however begin dissecting the Egirls who many begin doing after they barely scathed their way against us in the opener.

We’ll see how it develops but they lost some talent from last year . But I still expect them to be a team to beat in NFC. Time will tell. It’s a long season. Much can happen, injuries etc.

Shoot , so now are the Jints for real with Dart. We shall see. If they have hit on a QB it will turn their franchise around with a respectable defense.

We will learn more in coming weeks with games against playoff teams from last year vs Wash and at Denver. With such a brutal schedule upcoming we must win these games against lesser teams .

When your at that Denver game take a good look at the velocity and ability to make all throws on the field that Bo Nix has. And on the flip you will notice Dak absolutely can't throw the ball 35 yards on a rope like Nix.

How is that future all pro's on the rope 35 yarders looking this morning? Against the team that only a week ago Dak lit up.
