The guys who have been near the top of the league in interceptions over the past two seasons have no play recognition...OK.

The main issue is the scheme. Zimmer plays DB's so far off the line all they can hope to do is move up and make a tackle. It's the old "Bend but don't break defense" that doesn't work anymore. The rules are so much against the defense that you can't just hope they'll make a mistake because even if they do the refs will likely bail them out. Couple that with having nothing at safety. We are basically playing with only 9 guys on defense most of the time as the safeties are just there to get on camera, arriving late to the play after it's already over. That's our #1 need. Not DT, not RB, but Safety.

Jerry sees it differently and loves his corners. They really ought to deal Diggs to acquire picks and lose the salary, but as long as #7 jerseys are moving, it won’t even be considered.

It certainly wasn’t their best game, but they held everyone else in check except for the best WR in the NFL. He’s bigger than both, stronger than both, faster than both, more explosive moves than both. You don’t drop your all pro CBs just because guys like Randy Moss and Ja’marr Chase burn them.

Agreed. Diggs is an absolute joke at CB, and anyone that thinks he is good, is delusional. Bland has had his moments early on, but is getting a good dose of Cowboy incompetence as he plays more and more. Can't forget how DK Metcalf used Bland last year for an almost record number of pass reception yards and TD's. All the homers made excuses for him, but he was simply awful and still is.

By the way, your statement is also false. Bland wasn't covering Chase all game and there were multiple times Digg was playing close and Bland was playing off. Did you watch the game?

I remember his olay and business decision on kittle in playoffs a few years back as well that contributed to the cowboys going home

Diggs isn’t the only one that’s part of why RBs have field days against us. Not the only reason but part of it

Nothing kills a run defense faster than high priced stars that do not feel as though stopping the run is part of their job description. The dirty little low paid scrubs do all the work and the stars collect picks and stats and big checks. Pure locker room poison.

The front seven did fine tonight. Burrow was getting killed all night. Secondary, especially diggs and blamd, got cooked all night.

The front seven did better later in the game. But frankly when pressure was sent they couldn’t get burrow on the ground. He steps up and side steps and throws downfield. That was part of the reason the CBs got beat.

Zimmer played zone and the hope is that the CBs keep everything in front and limit the big gains and allow the pass rush to get there. Zimmer brings pressure but they can’t get burrow on the ground and a big play ensued.

this os their FIRST game playing and Blands 1 or 2 games back both not completely healthy and Bland Actually can tackle. Yall are just nitpicking at this point
