Diggs is on Jerry's crap list

Pollard was really freaking fast, but he was also 210 lbs. He's now lost a step from his early days, but he's still a 1000 yard rusher in Tennessee because he's got some power.

Blue's 20 lbs smaller than Pollard. He's even faster than peak Pollard, but not when you adjust for his size.

Pollard also worked really hard and learned to become an excellent pass blocker, after being a zero there coming out of college. Blue is TBD there.
15 lbs difference between the two. Blue is shifter, faster but has fumble issues. The fumbling can be fixed. i'll take blue all day over Pollard. Pollard had better yac I'm thinking. I don't know that

Diggs isn't even going to play, he should be released.

Dallas doesn't like to eat money. His contract is guaranteed for this season. My guess is they want him to play at some point to get value out of that fully guaranteed base.
2025 base was fully guaranteed in case of injury.

  • Diggs is a guy that's naturally talented, but when you look at him I've always said he doesn't strike me as a guy that works on his body at all. I think that probably carries over to his rehab.
  • 44 for Pickens is too steep if true. At 77 (or whatever our 3rd rounder was) would have been palatable. Pickens is an absolute nutjob but incredibly talented.
  • Love is not better than Pollard. Faster? Sure. Not better. Broaduss is just trying to be spicy.
Your last nugget you know that why? Guess, assumption or speculation? Because comparing them 2 coming out of college he is better at this point

Everything time linked for your convenience.

Diggs may be playing his last year in Dallas.

A couple other nuggets.

The Steelers wanted pick 44 for George Pickens and Broaddus thinks the Cowboys should have done it.

Broaddus thinks Jaydon Blue is better than Tony Pollard.

I never wanted us to resign him. Never thought he was one of the top 10 CBs in the league. he plays football like little league flag football. if you are a football player, then you tackle. he refuses to tackle. points fingers and takes too many risks. and we have seen how he deals with injury. he is not tough enough for NFL football.

but to Jerry, he sold jerseys and he got resigned because ROI was good.

I am not going to buy into all this talk radio talk in the offseason. From what Jerry said, it sounds like Jerry thought Diggs did not work hard to come back from his first injury, but he is working harder this time because he learned from his first injury. So why would you decide now, after he has changed his behavior for the better, to get rid of him? If he works hard to come back sooner, and he plays at a high level showing some motivation, why cut him?

Either way, there is no point in doing anything with him now. His salary is already fully guaranteed for 2025.

I actually think pick 44 wasn't that bad to ask for. I think Pickens would probably have a bigger impact on who we actually drafted short term.

On Diggs. Everyone wants these players to come back as soon as possible. When a player tries to do that and reinjures himself, now it's his fault? Nobody wants to take blame. I'm not just going to believe whatever the organization says as gospel. I'm just not going to believe a player wants to reinjure himself, or do things that can lead to that.

Po
Better than pollard? We can only pray thats true, but I’m having doubts.
Polkard has a better body to handle inside runs. But if we can block better, just 1 more yard before contact it makes a huge difference. Blue is a guy that’s gonna need a hole and then he can do his thing. He’s not gonna run over people

Blue is right near 200 lbs and probably will get there so your claim of 20 lbs is off
I can tell from the rest of your post that you are a Pollard homer so the rest of it is not really worth reading.
Blue is faster than pollard by at least a step maybe two which is significant no matter what you claim
small fast and quick backs have done quite well in the NFL so read it and weep

Hated the Diggs contract the second it was signed. Lets hope Revel works out.
This has been the curse of late ,hefty 2nd contract for almost no return , Jaylon , D law , Diggs, Gallop, Steele comes to mind .

I don't mean someone will play over him, I mean he's not going to play. He won't come back from his injury.
Did you examine him? He may not come back but you and no one else knows that. He’ll be given every chance. If it becomes evident he can’t come back he’ll be released.

Not no but Heeeeelllll no. BB is flat wrong.

I seriously doubt Amari will be making his return to the Cowboys.

Jerruh was the main one who wanted him terminated, as I recall.

If Jerry prefers having Amari back over Diggs, he's in big trouble.
