I take Donald and would give up the rest with absolute ease. Donald is a game changer and a QB killer. Parsons is a great pass rusher, but he's not Donald.

In their prime it is a no brainer. I take Donald, Ramsey and Wagner. But Donald was considering retirement this year so I'd rather have Parsons for the next 7 or 8 years.

Really... hmmm... I disagree... but interesting

Donald is a game changer - anyone who doesn't realize this hasn't watched him. Having a player be able to consistently put pressure in the face of the QB is far more valuable than even outside rushers. Even greater, he's an all-around excellent player and great against the run. You can scheme around a player like Parsons or Lawrence, Lawrence is replaceable - a QB can't do much against the middle of a line being decimated at the point of the snap. Even the great Tom Brady struggles with this.

If the criteria is a switch right now, then yeah, it's a tougher call.

Not questioning the importance of pressure up the middle... I disagree with Donald being more versatile than ParsonS... I wouldn't drop Donald in coverage.. you can play Parsons anywhere on defense... including safety...

Donald's impact on coverage is the fact that he's applying pressure directly in the QBs face. We're talking about an all-time great player here. Parsons has some freak athletic abilities, but he's not on Donald's level and it's not an expectation any player should have, it's hard to live up to that. Very few players in the history of the NFL has played on Donald's level, he's a generational talent.

You do understand that opinions vary right? You do understand the difference between opinions and facts, right? You do understand that some posters on here crack jokes, right? Now do you understand why your response to my post was not warranted.

Failed to see the "joke" there - and yeah, opinions exist but there needs to be some basis. I'd slow down on saying Parsons is greater than a future HOF who is still playing great football.

Which one would you draft if they both were there to be taken?

Ramsey past his prime. Will be a safety within 1-2 years

Donald is on the decline too. Projected 8 sacks this season and he’s 31

Wagner past his prime

Can we just get his name right at this point? ParsonS. There's an "S" on the end. The guy is one of the best defensive players in the game and people in here can't even spell his name right.
Michael Irving says thanks for bringing this up

I think it's close because of the age factor and Parsons, but we've been missing the kind of disruption at DT that Donald causes for a long, long time. I know I'd take Ramsey and Donald for Diggs and Lawrence in a heartbeat, even though I think Diggs is becoming the better player. Micah for Wagner kind of stops me in my tracks, though.
