This is a family forum. Both young/old, male/female members. Not everyone can spell, nor do they have to spell correctly. No one knows a member with a disability or how young they are. Be kind & stop being a Grammar Cop!
Both young AND old, male AND.... LOL
I'm just kidding. As long as I can understand someone, it's good enough for me.

I think it's close because of the age factor and Parsons, but we've been missing the kind of disruption at DT that Donald causes for a long, long time. I know I'd take Ramsey and Donald for Diggs and Lawrence in a heartbeat, even though I think Diggs is becoming the better player. Micah for Wagner kind of stops me in my tracks, though.
No subs :)

Donald. I wouldn't even need to think about it.
My guy, you are going on and on about Donald like a fanboy... I get it. My question was simply which three you want. No subs... all this other convo is not on topic... I like Donald too... yes he is a HOF 1st yr... but that's not what anybody is asking or debating... Jez!

...I went "on and on" about Donald because 1. He's a huge factor in the question 2. Someone ELSE asked me who I would choose between Donald and Parson if they were drafted.

I'm sorry this thread isn't going 100% how you wanted. Seems like you wanted one straight answer (in favor of the Cowboys) and that didn't work out. You put a future HOF generational player in a triplet trade - it's going to be a major factor.

Donald is 31 and in his ninth season. Parsons is 23 and in his second. Based on that alone, I'd have to stick with what we've got. I mean, Donald submitted a retirement letter to the Rams in May before backing out. He may have just been posturing, though, to get a raise. I'm not sure that he can maintain his level of play for too many more years.

For me it's Parsons. Never known a DT that ended his career with over 100 sacks. Several DE's have done it, but never a DT.

Aaron Donald is a 7x first team all-pro, NFL sack leader, 2010s all-decade player, 3x DPOY. Donald has 100 sacks right now in his career. Heck, you are most likely going to witness him getting over 100 sacks against us.

This is all with knowing the position he plays - which is applying pressure in the face of the QB. I mean, your choice, but as I said, you'd be in the minority choosing Parson's over Donald.

Ramsey been getting beat like a drum, every time I see him with a big match up.

Of course our guys are young and we have untapped potential to discover still.

Donald is the GOAT as a pass rushing DT. He's a truly rare gem.
Lilly and Manster were better than Donald.

Those crowing about sacks need to do some research on the great players in the middle of the D line before the NFL made sacks an official statistic.
Merlin Olsen, Bob Lilly, and some other great DTs got a lot of sacks in their times and REMEMBER no one passed anywhere near as much back then.

Donald is a HOF player.
But there is a good chance that Parsons will be as well
The other two - Diggs gives us the edge overall.

Our guys are younger and hungrier. In their prime though? Donald, Wagner, Ramsey would be better overall than Diggs, Parsons, Lawrence imo.
