Just as an argument, basketball is a lot less mentally taxing. Having to diagnose route combinations and be in sync with the backend as a DB is definitely a mental battle.

Seriously! I was thinking about that when I was watching the Eagles game. Could barely move to enjoy the game. Have a lot of respect for guys playing thru “illness” which we consider a small injury designation.

I had to tunnel 40 miles both ways to get to school when I had the flue due to mudslides and an avalanche caused by 3 earth quakes

It doesn't affect anyone or every position in every sport equally. Some of our players were feeling pretty lousy. Hopefully, the flu has about run its course with our team. We need everyone healthy for the playoffs.
