Diggs played through that flu so maybe we should cut him some slack

Dude was clearly not himself. We probably should take that horrible game he just had with a grain of salt. Here's hoping he feels better by Thursday.
Actually trying to jump routes to get picks and finding the WR gets open behind him is Diggs being himself. That's something he's had a problem with in the past, but seemed to improve on most of this year. Unfortunately we've seen it pop back up the last few weeks.

Flu was going through the locker room - probably affected Parsons as well.

It was reported earlier last week. Thought everyone knew this.

It's why I wasn't too mad honestly, I knew he was playing sick. Playing any sport, not at 100% and sick is insane. Yet, a lot of our players have done it time and time again this season.

True grit.

Yeah I know he has that tendency to gamble some.. but he has been good enough to recover and still not give up the big play in most instances. Bear in mind too that in some instances his gambles are because the coverage was supposed to have safety help behind him. Like Darius Slay said.. if you don't know the assignment then don't talk..

While it's impossible to direct all the fault at one player, Cowboys star cornerback Trevon Diggs didn't hesitate to announce shortly after the game that he's shouldering the blame for some "bad ball."

"Bad ball on my part, I appreciate my brothers having my back," Diggs tweeted. "#cowboyszone merry Christmas!"

Bottom line he had a bad game, you hope to learn something from the negative and keep on going. NFL you best have a short memory because you will get beat how you respond will tell a lot about a player. Diggs this season has played very good ball, so excuse me if I cut the man some slack.
