Diggs played through that flu so maybe we should cut him some slack

It wasn't the flu that had him bite on the huge play to start the game. Or the bite to Smith when he scored. He's a huge risk taker. Sometimes it pays off, other times it doesn't.

If you're not thinking clearly ...

Michael Jordan had one of the best games of his life playing with the flu.
Dirk Nowitski played game 5 and 6 in the 2011 NBA Championship and dominated.
Not everyone is Michael Jordan. Ever had the flu running 100 plus temp, headache out of your mind, nauseated and chills? Being sick is a legitimate excuse.

Dude was clearly not himself. We probably should take that horrible game he just had with a grain of salt. Here's hoping he feels better by Thursday.
Maybe he had brain fog!

He really needs to stop guessing on routes!

It is one thing to bait the QB and have great anticipation right at the time of the throw, but it is completely different to just guess. He JUST guessed twice vs Philly. It cost us an easy TD and a very long gain.

Anticipating and guessing are completely different. Diggs is great at anticipating, not so much at guessing!!

Apparently you didn't watch "The Last Dance." Especially the part where Jordan admits he didn't have the flu.. he basically had the runs from eating bad pizza. Now I don't know if this was after the fact "poetic license" but that's what he said.

Yeah fatigue and feeling lousy will make you lazy.. I think Diggs made a couple of lazy reads on those plays because he didn't really have the energy to play them the right way. It happens to DBs.. They all get beat.. It doesn't happen to him often enough for me to get worked up. And now that it's gotten him twice in one game I expect him to be on point the rest of the season and playoffs.

Do the opponents give him slack too? Yes of course he gets props for playing through illness or injury, but that's 90% of players right now. Everyone is hurt or have issues to fight through, that is why they have to be so tough.

But if you want real props for playing sick look no further than the great Dirk. What he did while sick in the playoffs was special, it was special if he was healthy.

No he bit on plays designed to target him and he also made a business decision earlier in the game in his pathetic attempt to tackle.

Guess someone infected with the flu needs to get into the Cowboys locker room during the week.

Michael himself said it was food poisoning from pizza the night before, not the flu

He needs to play better. The flu does not explain his mess-ups against Jacksonville.

Once again, Sorry Ronnie no can do. Diggs has played the whole season gambling with receivers, trying to jump routes or falling for the double moves which has led to him giving up a lot of precious yds. I'm not saying he's not good, I'm just saying that he needs to play within himself in certain situations.
