Agreed. Revel should be cleared sometime in July but the Cowboys (rightfully) will take it slow with his return. As for Diggs, I know they are going to spin some "possible for week one" narrative but I think he probably misses at least the first few games. From what I've read, I think Revel will be placed on PUP at the start of camp but is expected to be taken off PUP during camp. Of course, since he's a rookie that could slow his start to the season. But unlike Diggs, I don't think he's actually expected to miss any games.
Still, even with Revel, we don't have a lot of proven corners with Diggs out and Lewis gone. We got Elam for cheap to give him a chance but he was a bust in Buffalo.
Yeah, we should know how bad we need Diggs back before he returns. I know there are some fans who want to get rid of the player, but we saw how weak we were at corner when Bland was out at the start of the season and then when we had to replace Diggs later in the season. I do think Eberflus's scheme should help there some, but we'll see how much.Agreed. Revel should be cleared sometime in July but the Cowboys (rightfully) will take it slow with his return. It's possible the top three corners for the opener at Philly are Bland, Elam, and Revel. And they can always use Mukuamu in the slot.
Absolutely zero offense taken on my end and I appreciate the lighthearted approach you take with many of your posts.I respect the information for sure and definitely didn't mean to diminish it.
I was raised in NJ in the 80s so I have a proclivity to inject good cheer into the most serious of discussions.
Alas, its my cross to bear.......
I would expect him on PUP to do bands work to ramp up for practice. Doubt he will need to stay on it very long. Seems to be on schedule. From what I've read, I think Revel will be placed on PUP at the start of camp but is expected to be taken off PUP during camp. Same to you, broAbsolutely zero offense taken on my end and I appreciate the lighthearted approach you take with many of your posts.
I was goofing around a little by tossing out my Varus, but since you were dialed-in on the Valgus, I saw an opportunity and I seized it.
Take care, bazz. I believe you to be one of the least offensive and/or argumentative persons on this board. Very refreshing.
Tharp always do. I expected him back second half of season. But we will see. One thing that helps him is he’s been thru two other injuries and came back mentally ready from both. Some guys struggle with that early after a serious injuryHope he gets back before everyone thinks he will. As we all know, they always get their projected timing wrong.
PR crapWeird exercise. Hope it helps.
He has a teaser trailer for some kind of series on his rehab I guess that will be on youtube.
Sheesh. I’m in pain reading this…damn.I’m glad he’s rehabbing and we need him back. On a personal note, anyone who uses those bands, you definitely want to wear safety googles. In 2010 I was working out with one and it snapped and the whiplash hit my eyes and I went blind instantly. Broke 2 blood vessels in each eye and was blind for a month. They had to put these silicone pumps in my eyes to pump out the blood. Fortunately I completely recovered. But every time I see someone that close to a band without safety glasses I cringe. That’s so dangerous.
On the funny side. My eye doctor who did 3 surgeries in 4 days to save my sight injured himself in the exact same manner with the same type of band and he needed surgery. He got his eyesight back too. On my yearly follow ups I bring him a pair of safety googles as a joke.
