Dink and dunk Dak

Just curious
What is “adjusted completion pct”
Is that just deep passes or is it something else

He throws a great deep ball, not on sideline deep balls, but deep over the shoulder throws and deep middle of the field throws. No clue why the coaches didn't call for more deep throws.

Here's a great one. Butler escaped Sammy the Bulls house and was allowed one snap that day(two actually.. this and the fake punt)

Easy when the guy gets a step. From the pocket! I know how the pocket police like to monitor those pocket plays from the broken plays.

Maybe you need bifocals

4. DAK PRESCOTT, DALLAS COWBOYS
Adjusted Completion Percentage: 46.5 percent

Yards: 534 (21st)

For the second year in a row, Prescott did not take many downfield shots, but he continues to show the ability to throw with good ball location to allow for big plays. He ranked just 27th in deep pass attempt percentage at 8.8 percent, and it’s likely time for the Cowboys to open things up for Prescott in the coming years.

I read where his average yards per attempt was 6.8 yds which was middle of the pack among all qbs this year. For the record, Wentz was 7.5 and the highest was Alex Smith at 8.0.

I've been saying this all season. Dak's best throw are intermmediate/deeper passes to the middle of the field.
The problems is, we don't attack the deep middle much. It's just stupid how we didn't adjust to Dak's strengths. Instead the coaches kept running the offense as though we had Romo as our QB.

Hanna has the speed to run the deep post effectively. They could have even tried it with Noah Brown the way they had him lined up most of the time.

Hanna is a bad dude

Then why is he 20th in yards per attempt?

If Alex Smith is a the top of your deep-throw statistic, you have one jacked up statistic.

Alex Smith is also 2nd in yards per attempt.

Completion percentage, on limited deep throws, which the article clearly states, has nothing to do with Dink and Dunk status.
Aikman was a dink and dunker, who took enough deep shots. He wasn't slinging it over the lot. Dak Prescott is Troy Aikman.
