Dink and dunk Dak

We don't have fast receivers to get separation. Bulter got some speed, but his spot is locked for Dez. Coaches have no guts to bench him regardless how bad he is.

I've been saying this all season. Dak's best throw are intermmediate/deeper passes to the middle of the field.
The problems is, we don't attack the deep middle much. It's just stupid how we didn't adjust to Dak's strengths. Instead the coaches kept running the offense as though we had Romo as our QB.

Hanna has the speed to run the deep post effectively. They could have even tried it with Noah Brown the way they had him lined up most of the time.

I think the scheme isn't run to take many shots down the field in the first place. The scheme involves running the ball with your bell cow rb and completing short less risky passes in order to create 2nd or 3rd and manageable distances. It also allows for the cowboys to control TOP and keep the defense fresh and off the field while minimizing turnovers. If you want the cowboys to be a chunk play offense then you have to change the whole team philosophy.

Your original post alluded to Aikman not being capable of throwing deep consistently, he was very capable and accurate. If there is any similarities in stats in regards to him vs Dak in attempts, it mostly do to the 90 teams was playing the majority of the time with the league.

Never meant he wasn't accurate or not capable of going deep. Dak and Aikman share the same strengths as passers.

Meaning: there best route is deep and over the middle.

2:30 is what I mean by he's Aikman. I maybe wrong, but that reminds me of Aik to Irv... maybe I'm clueless

@ 0:30 and 0:49... reminds me of Aikman. Sorry if you don't agree

3:49... Aikman throw

Hanna is a bad dude

Hanna is a player that could have really made an impact for this team if Witten wasn't eating up all of the meaningful tight end snaps. He does everything physically better than Witten at a fraction of the cost and is a much greater threat to a defense because of his speed.
