I have had DirecTV and the NFL package since it began in the early nineties however I move to 4K TVs and Dish seems to have better programming for 4K. My question is can you see all the cowboy games on NFL Network or on the Internet without having to have Sunday Ticket I don't really care if I have to wait a day or two to see them on nfln

I had no problem watching cowboys games live online when I lived in Europe, cant imagine it would be that much harder in the US.

Yes, actually Zordon usually posts a streaming link on this site on gameday for folks not getting the game in their areas. You should be okay w/Dish if it's a better fit and like Ren above said, usually a link is created that day (so it isn't shut down) just to show NFL games. You're doing nothing illegal though by watching those various sites, etc.

I'll leave the front door unlocked. Let yourself in. Just listen and follow the noise. Bring chips please.

I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on the 4K format.

Isn't this how bad horror movies usually start?:D

You don't know big dog very well do you? He is a freaking horror story. :D

I was just about to post the same thing. Though, like HBO, I think the NFL is will follow suit about steaming NFL Sunday Ticket openly on the net without a TV subscription.

In the end, I think all services will do this. It will be do it or die in the near future. Ask the cable companies, they are in a mad scrable now because so many people are cutting the cord and going all streaming. I did it and haven't looked back since.

Well started to go to Dish found out they don't have wireless 4K as they stated on the phone so cancelled them. Call DirecTV back you're not going to believe what they gave me free installation 7 receivers three of them Wireless 1 4 k free NFL Sunday Ticket Max a $200 gift certificate and lowered my bill $50 a month from where I used to be finally I feel like I'm getting my money's worth. As far as 4k goes I don't think there's enough programming to make it worth your while yet also you have to have Neuer cable throughout your house otherwise they won't install it. And while DirecTV claims they can have multiple 4K TVs their Tech just told me they've discovered they can only run one TV per household on 4K. Thanks for the help everybody and by the way it took 3 calls to DirecTV before I finally got somebody willing to give me all the goodies so don't give up keep trying

Very rarely are you talking to actual DirecTV when you are speaking with sales. It is usually an authorized third party reseller with a contractual relationship to be able to offer certain promotions. So it isn't really "haggling" by repeatedly calling to get them to offer more, you are more than likely just being routed to a different company that has different access. Either way, glad it worked out for you.

Glad you got that but be very careful with it. They entice you in the jack up the price. They tried to do that with me and my kids wanted me to do it, mainly because they get unlimited data on their cell phones. I looked into it, and they increase the price after two year comittment. I have Dish and have it for about 9 years. I get about 55 more channels than I would with Direct TV. Unfortunately I don't get the NFL ticket but I stream it on line when I want to watch a Cowboy game. Also I haggle with Dish every year and they usually give me a $40 monthly credit. I pay less than $50 a month and this year I am going to ask for more of a credit especially since Direct Tv is offering a good package deal. Dish doesn't want to loose customers. Also I have not lost NFLN yet but we will see.

You may want to look into it again. Direct TV has a pretty standard promotion that if you have any AT&T services you get a two year price guarantee.

You can usually continue to get the free NFL package by "complaining about the price" every summer; broke sob story yada We didn't pay for something 4-5 years straight and they gave us some free movie cable channels like HBO for a few months for free on top; for some reason girl said no to cinemax:D. They tend to work with you bc they have to unlike a lot of local suppliers, etc.

Best I ever got was $10-20 off the ST per month for the 6 months they billed and maybe 3 free months of Starz or Showtime.

Did you mention that you are thinking of cancelling all together (definitely use a woman)? That sux dude. I do remember one year, we used the "new customers get it free" line not being fair to loyal customers; prioritizing them over regulars, etc. and we got it for free again bf the summer but otherwise it was just the cancelling the service that got us the package. I guess I'll find out soon, but you have me half scared now tbh; I probably should have had her call after the regular season or will have to watch online linked to TV, etc. Thanks for the heads up though so we know when to give up the gig and have a second question lined up, etc. I go cable free @ my place.
