Did anyone get their new DirecTV promotion in the mail this week with the opening day schedule and the $99 Super fan offer? I was curious to see what they listed your automatic renewal, "preferred customer", NFL Ticket subscription cost this year.

I got that a week or so ago, but didn't yet see how much its going to cost for the early renewal. I am guessing it would be around same as last year since they haven't done any new contract unlike last year. Or it could be 10-20 dollar raise in fee.

That thing is getting up there now. First time I got it, I got it for around 129 I think. Its almost double that now.

Sportsbabe, I've been asking DirecTV questions about auto-renewal since the offer for free Superfan came out in April. They keep stalling and say the notation will appear in 'May, June or July.' It didn't show up on my bill in May or June. However, they assure me that I'm renewed and I will get a discount.

Thanks for raising this topic.

I got the NFL package last year. Loved it.

But I saw an ad about it being $299. That's a bit too much (though I'll pay it anyway), but I was waiting on a promotional deal. $99 would be super. I'd jump on that quick, fast and in a hurry. :D

The 99 is in addition to the 229, or whatever it is. The 99 allows you to get the Superfan package add-on, which has the shortcuts, and those lame channels that have like 6 games on at aonce.

The ticket is great but it costs too much. After I switched to cable last year I only missed one game. Someone at Fox in Memphis is a Cowboys fan

I received something about auto renewel (but didn't see a schedule included). Can't recall the exact amout, didn't pay that much attention. But believe it said I will be billed 4 installments of $52.25, could have been $57.95. I will have to find the letter.

Yeah, I never got that package? Anyone who has taken it, recommend it? I mean I plan on buying DirecTV HD Tivo Recorder soon, and seems like that package gives you additional HD channels? Or it doesn't?

Shortcuts are the ish. I'm thinking I'm not going to get it again this year, but those things are great. Any game I want - I can see in a half hour. Awesome. But the rest of it was pretty much garbage, I think. I think, for the first two weeks of the season, they give it to everyone - hoping to make you love it, so you just order it anyway. You'll be able to try it then, I should think.

Unfortunately, Fox and CBS in PA are philly and Pitt fans, along with Washington. Cowboys games constantly blacked out for local games....rage building.....

I got mine a few weeks ago. I've had sunday ticket since 2000, and I believe I was renewed for $200, and my superfan was $50 in addition, for this year.

If you want the Ticket HD Channels, you must purchase SuperFan.

Even though I can see every Cowboys game anyway without it. I still get the Ticket to see other teams and games. I really don't want to see Saints - 49ers when I can see Bengals - Steelers.
