Ware is going to be a monster. The first couple of weeks it just seemed he was content to try his speed rush to turn the corner on every rush. Too many times he was simply pushed past the play. Last week I saw him bullrushing a little. Today he was bullrushing and then shoving the O-lineman and making a move. I've been watching this kid closely (I am admittedly not a great evaluator of talent) and I think he's going to be something special. It seems to me he gets better every week.

What does it look like to everyone else? Am I way off target of my observations of what this kid's doing?

Ware did more in the first quarter than Wiley did all year.

HE WAS DEFINATLEY doubled all day long and still put pressure. Without jumpin the gun>>> we got ourselves a PLAYER. DIFFERENCE MAKER , whether or not stats show it. I LOVE THIS KID !!!! Even though I did think Merriman was a good fit.

Several times he was engaged with a blocker on a run play and continued to work, shoving his blocker toward the play, causing the back to slide away from his side and run laterally. He slowed the runner long enough for an LB or Safety to stop him for no gain.

And that's how you play team defense -- you don't get the #s for it but those plays are key.
