Disgruntled Adrian Peterson

First step to Adrian Peterson becoming a Dallas Cowboy.

Stay strong Adrian.

Here are the conditions in which I would welcome Peterson in the Cowboy fold...

1. The Vikings release him... No trade... no giving the Vikings any draft picks. No giving the Vikings any players.
2. He passes through waivers unclaimed. I think the odds of this happening being pretty good. I don't think anyone would claim him and assume his 2015 contract parameters.

The Cowboys could then negotiate with him for a contract that was much lower than what he was going to get from the Vikings.

Those are my conditions. :)

If he were to agree to a contract reduction before a trade, I would be willing to give up next year's 1st rounder.

If you told me that I could come out of next year's draft with three great years of Adrian Peterson with the 30th pick, I would take it.

Yeah. Obviously any type of trade would require a preplanned agreement to redo the contract. A first rounder would be tough but Id start with a 3rd and 4th and work my way towards a first if necessary.

I could easily see the Vikings cutting AP outright next year anyways. His value is only going to go down from here on out. His best value is right now

Peterson isn't giving any team three great years at this point in his career. He may have 1 great year left, but not 3.

Gotta say I would never, ever offer them a first for Peterson.
