- We had a long off season and a Bundle of Jerry's Money to spend to more than fix the holes we had - especially on the OL.

-Instead we plug these holes with question marks - Kosier? Pettitti?Fabini? I mean really what the _____were they thinking?

-Instead of adding stability we rolled the dice on the biggest JO in Sports...

-We are still paying for making the mistake of bringing Drew Bledslow to the club when we could have had Brees or Culpepper this off season - instead we are stuck fitting a square into a circle.

- Julius Jones has done nothing but talk - he's done nothing to show us he's changed or worked hard or if the staff challenged him to be better - we still do NOT have a #1 back.

- JJ forced JO on Tuna

- Tuna now realizes he made a mistake with Bledsoe and would to play a guy like Romo - but how can they justify Bledslow's salary on the bench. Someone didn't have a Blueprint for success.

- We have suspect depth at the WR position at best

All these questions - all these feelings of lacking continuity - have lead to a disjointed - negative - poorly run - circus like Training Camp.

People are just waiting for things to crumble in Dallas - and to honest - I'm not so sure how long they'lll have to wait.

You can do the waiting, I think this is a joke. Dallas does not make moves you want so here we go with doom and gloom? I think this team is much better than your outlook suggest.

- Who would you have brought in to play O line?

- There is no rollin the Dice on TO, you know what you get on the field and off.

- Parcells said he wanted to see what Romo had, he already know what Bledsoe brings to the table. He said don't read into anything, but of course you are.

- Both of those QB's came off HUGE injuries, much more risk there than TO.

- Sure JJ is having a hard time, but give it time, he is a good back.

- Once again Tuna said that he was going to sit Bledsoe, and to not read anythign into it.

- Suspect Depth? We have 2 receivers who are number one quality, a good possesion guy in Crayton, Hurd and Rector are coming along nice. Let me guess you want 5 #1 type receivers?

- I think Camp has gone very well we are going to end up cutting some guys that will be playing significant roles for other teams this year.

Wake up and smell the roses. This is free agency parity NFL. You simply cannot create the stacked teams with depth anymore. When talent is spread thin in the league, you have to make do with hit or miss players. Parcells has done a great job with the overall talent. All any team can do is hope a few spots hold up and injuries are few and not to key players.

So we shouldn't get Bledsoe and therefore throw away last season, just for the hope that some other team will let a perfect QB go in free agency? Culpepper and Brees have flaws. That's why their teams let them go.

So I guess you've been in Oxnard the last two weeks? Right.

You started another thread about a week ago (ripping the team and how it was built) that made me suspicious of you. I'd lay money right now that you are a fan of another NFL team pretending to be a Cowboy supporter. JMO.

Any better suggestions there? In case you didn't notice there wasn't exactly a hot market for o-line players out there.

And when exactly has he had the chance to show anything? It is clear that the staff isn't exposing him much in the pre-season. Everyone knows he can play. He played what, 1 series in Seattle? Ran for a first, caught another. I don't see where your crazy analysis comes from.

Now Blueprint for success? Bledsoe is an accomplished QB. We would have won maybe 4 games last year without him.

We have a solid starter and two young guys to develop. That sounds like a blueprint for success to me.

There are few teams in this league that legitimately go 4 or 5 deep at WR. And guess what. Depth at WR isn't such a huge deal if you run a 2 TE set most of the time since you are going to be in fewer 3 WR situations.

How anyone can make this claim is beyond me. Parcells has made huge strides in the way this team prepares. Go and watch the HBO series if you want to see a circus camp.

All of these comments -- all of this lack of logic or reason -- has led to a disjointed - negative - poorly thought out out commentary.

You make very interesting points in here. I think the Cowboys need to get quality on their team now and what I mean by that is, if we're going to get a Wide Receiver trade for Ashley Lelie, don't get no Patrick Johnson.

Atleast he would be a valueable asset to the team if anybody goes down.

I can't fully agree with you on Kyler Kosier, so far he looks good, that's just saying so far.

I don't think our offensive line have a problem, it's the quarterback in Drew Bledsoe that can't move to create time or avoid sacks. Bledsoe body is bang up, we need to make him a back-up.

Julius Jones? yeah he seem like he needs to back-up until the last 6 games, then we start him, cause he get started late, and that's never good. Marion Barber needs to start or Tyson Thompson or Julius Jones. I like all of our runningbacks. Let the best man win.

I like that he hasnt posted since your accusation. :lmao:

He forgets that in free agency a player can decide what team he wants to sign with, and probably one reason why we didnt chase after LeCharles Bentley this offseason. This isnt Madden...

I've learned a few things watching the boys over the years--you won't see any of the wiz bang/motion/razzle dazzle that we will have on opening day, BP will bore you to death with running plays and boring pass plays. We also intentinonally will play crappy next week so the naysayers will really start grumbling about the o-line. We won't bring any of the zillion blitzes and cover schemes we got ready for the start of the season. Enjoy watching some of the youngsters/camp fodder and know this, when the season starts we'll be awsome, we were a playoff team last year, we almost beat some great teams including the Seahawks, our kicker will be better than last year, keep the faith, if you don't believe me check the Vegas odds, we've consistently been moving lower to win it all.....
