- We had a long off season and a Bundle of Jerry's Money to spend to more than fix the holes we had - especially on the OL.

-Instead we plug these holes with question marks - Kosier? Pettitti?Fabini? I mean really what the _____were they thinking?

-Instead of adding stability we rolled the dice on the biggest JO in Sports...

-We are still paying for making the mistake of bringing Drew Bledslow to the club when we could have had Brees or Culpepper this off season - instead we are stuck fitting a square into a circle.

- Julius Jones has done nothing but talk - he's done nothing to show us he's changed or worked hard or if the staff challenged him to be better - we still do NOT have a #1 back.

- JJ forced JO on Tuna

- Tuna now realizes he made a mistake with Bledsoe and would to play a guy like Romo - but how can they justify Bledslow's salary on the bench. Someone didn't have a Blueprint for success.

- We have suspect depth at the WR position at best

All these questions - all these feelings of lacking continuity - have lead to a disjointed - negative - poorly run - circus like Training Camp.

People are just waiting for things to crumble in Dallas - and to honest - I'm not so sure how long they'lll have to wait.

I see you are still not using your brian and sopping up mush by listening to and reading the same people that are not only predicting failure, but are actively hoping for it just so they can be the first to say "I told you so!!!".

Dude...lighten up and be your own judge of things from what you see. Not what you are being told to believe.

Wow, I think I disagree with every single thing you said.

hell, even i disagree with much of it.

i think we mainly fudged up w/o OL. we coulda used another WR that's younger and a true WR but if you lose #1 and #2 anyway - not many teams are gonna overcome that so how deep can you go in a game of balance.

however, that balance i do think bp tips to the defense and he'll make a lot more moves and pay more $ on that side of the ball.

as for a RB, we'll know more after this year so we can chill out on that part.

That's too funny! I think I'll watch the season just for the heck of it tho.

Me too. I'll force myself to watch and root for this "terrible" team this year.

Gee thanks! Now I've got to cancel my Sunday Ticket subscription, make new plans for Sundays this fall and start scouting players for the draft. And I thought I had things planned out.

The unfortunate thing is that people are used to the team being a certain way and far too much of it is tied to the teams of years past.

Some will not be satisfied until our franchise QB with the deadly accuracy is throwing to the big WR or handing off to the franchise tailback behind the wall of an offensive line and we have teams put away by halftime.

Chances are this will be a team led by its defense. This shouldn't be surprising since it is built that way.

I agree. We are spoiled as far as NFL fans are concerned. IF a team like the Cardinals had what we have this year they would be thrilled. (Edge notwithstanding)

How long are you going to keep up this "scam" of pretending to be a Cowboys fan while knocking the team?

Do you really think you're fooling anybody?

Stash...Even though everyone is on to him, he still thinks he's incognito. (or is it "inburrito"? :D )

His Thread should have been titled...

I've never believed Culpepper was a *great* QB. He had Randy Moss and his only real attribute was his ability to throw the deep ball. If thats all you got, you arn't winning a thing.

He was exposed last year and will be exposed again in Miami this year...

How can you say that? You and I don't know the mind of BP like this gentleman. [quote: Parcells now realizes his mistake...] I am not a confidant of Parcells to have this kind of insider info. Therefore we need to sit up and take notice.

Seriously, there are times I make statements in the heat of frustrations that later I regreted saying. The poster will probably feel better after the season starts.

Last time I looked Julius Jones averaged 3.9ypc last season, recovering from a high ankle sprain. Totalled just shy of 1000 yards, missing games through his injury and sharing some of the load with an impressive MBIII.

This behind a ravaged O-Line who were particularly poor at run blocking, coupled with an NFC East division having a stellar season (Eagirls the exception).

Sorry but I'm not ready to give up on JJ yet.
