It's probably overstated but I think the Monday night game was a combination of things, everyone also still wants to see Brady magic even if they hate him. So there were just a lot of good draws I guess. 30 million is a big number for a Monday night game.
What's crazy is I feel like Dallas pretty much breaks the viewership record every season and is in every game that is top 5 in ratings nearly every year even when they're pretty irrelevant. The draw is extremely powerful.

Brady + Cowboys + Playoffs + Monday Night game = Ratings going Nuclear

Yeah I always wonder about that. When Dish Network tapes all Prime Time shows automatically to my DVR does that count as a viewing?
it does count in a separate ratings, they call dvr delayed viewing.
advertisers dont like those due to they figure most will FF thru the ads

No surprise at all.......in fact, I would argue the more we win from here on out, more viewership records will be broken.

America loves the Dallas Cowboys.........fact
Top 5 high rates games this year: 4 of them Cowboy games, the other was thanksgiving with the Lions.
