When I think of the constant dumb comedies rolled out ever year with lame actors, I think that the funniest guy around is Jackie Childs' character.
You, BigStar are effusive, diffusive, anti-exclusive and ultraconfusive to say nothing of your concussive nature!
;)

I'll take that back hand lightly ;)

On Monday, the Cowboys had a couple new injuries. Linebacker Rolando McClain, who missed most of the scrimmage Sunday with tightness in his hamstring

This is from the Cowboys website. They gave Leary a little over a week to get right. And people are saying this after 2 days? lol, I think Cowboy fans want drama in Dallas more then media.

Really? You are hopeless. If you don't understand the difference between being in shape and football shape, well I don't know what to tell you. Stop trying to make something out of nothing. For the record I sleep just fine at night thank you, especially with my hot blonde wife next to me.

What is hopeless is fans jumping on others for not qualifying ever thing. Talking about trying to make something out of nothing.
As to the hot blonde, leave it to you to go to sleep!!!!!!! the rest of us sure never go to sleep. wink-wink.

It has no bearing on the truth nor on how the truth is determined.

i prefer empiricism over boldness.

Then countering a comment that "he could wake up one day and quit" - (because he has a documented history of questionable love of the game) with - "He could play 10 more years and be a HOFer" is about as far from empirical evidence and jumps to a bold assertion about as much as the scale will allow.

Maybe that is why the media gives it to them and many fans make it so easy for them by their over reactions. It is like watching dog do tricks, media holds the bone up and get some to jump, rollover and play dead.

Some of you people are going to need surgery after all the knee-jerking you do. He's been hurt and had some trainers check it out - there's probably nothing structurally wrong, but if it's sore or tight or hurts, he'd be a fool to play on it. It's not a quitting thing, it's a "listen to your body, especially when your body is your source of income" thing. Worry about it if he pulls out of a game. It's training camp. With all the injuries we have/had, it'd be worse if he goes against his gut, forces it and does get hurt.

That was my point. They are both probabilities and fronting certainty on human behavior is a waste of time. McClain is going to do what he is going to do independent of what we predict.

I don't bet unless it is a situation that i have a modicum of control of the outcome.

The empirical point I think is apt. You are right in saying that his quitting before increases the likelihood he is to quit again. That is a fair conclusion. I just don't think the passive aggressive lying about his injury to get out of practicing meshes with his past behavior. He strikes me as a very direct person that is unafraid to speak his mind.

If he wanted to quit then i think he would just quit.

A lot of posters needs to come back in this thread and eat their crow for all the player bashing that went on in this thread. I mean this thread is funny and sad at the same damn time. Funny how a player(McClain) who has been very solid thus far in camp, all of a sudden quit at a drop of a hat because he didn't want in injure his hamstrings because a trainer told him that he was fine to go back in.... Are you kidding me???

This thread is sad because of how many people actually believe any & everything they heard as its the gospel truth. I know its some gullible people in this world but give me a break? Once a Quitter, Always a Quitter hahaha

Whew! Now the "football condition" guy can quit hipervenilationing.

I am not the one hyperventilating, you were. I simply stated there was a difference between the 2. Obviously you can't handle that. "Half urself" a goo day.
