I never thought otherwise just wanted to back you up that I heard the same thing on the fan.

You posted something you heard on the radio trying to give your fellow fans a heads up. You didn't deserve the attacks from some of the posters by posting what you heard. You didn't say it and you didn't make it up. If it turned out to be blown out of proportion by The Fan that's not on you.

In fairness to the community, this was the OP:

Trainers have cleared Rolando McClain to practice, but he refuses to do so. They've told him he's fine, just sore.
This guy could make a huge difference if his heart is in it, but it doesn't look like it is.

Not sure this guy's worth the trouble, even with his talent.

So what now?

If fairness to the OP. He was attacked for posting what he heard. His commentary after is irrelevant. When I jumped in he was being chastised for what he heard not his commentary after that. Based on what he heard his commentary wasn't inflammatory. He even went on to say he hoped it wasn't the case because the team could use him.

Fisher is the one that started it, posted it on Scout's Cowboys "premium" page. He is an insider for sure....heck he was standing right behind Romo in his post game comments after the blue and white scrimmage. Just depends on what you want to believe. He tweaked it in the game and then practiced the next day.

Point is that he didn't give any sort of reference to where he heard, who reported, or any kind of info other than a seemingly unsubstantiated inflammatory comment, followed by even more inflammatory commentary. Had he said in the original post the info about where he heard it, and who said it, then he would not have been slammed so hard. So his fault, not the posters.

It was on the radio this morning I heard it too. He said as much in the first page of the thread.

how? the first post he said about McClain was only saying that McClains injury history with his leg are complicated. second one was him posting what stephen said about McClain whole body being out of wack right now with being out of football for so long. Are you reading it different?

I could go for some chicken but I only gots avocados. Plus, it would be a bit cannibalistic.

Anyway, as for Rolando, I think he's just out of whack after being out of football for so long. He put in a good effort in practices, and he seemed honest in all of his interviews.

You seem to have missed that this whole thread is based upon something Erod says he heard Fisher say on the radio.

This is exactly the point, which I thought was pretty obvious.

It's like saying "Your wife is ugly!"






"...is what I heard somebody say. I don't necessarily think so, though. I just thought it would be interesting to talk about." Of course people are going to react to that. Which I think erod probably understands. It's the nature of message boards.
