Seattle is the 3 seed (highest wild card seed) we face the lowest wild card seed that wins. That will be one of those three teams. I hope it's Detroit although I doubt it. They'd have to lose tonight then beat Seattle in Seattle, or win tonight then beat the Giants and Seattle would have to win against Green Bay.

I think it's more likely we face either Green Bay or the Giants.

1. DET
2. GB

3. NYG

division games in the playoffs can get messy. thats why I'm so happy the Commanders didn't make it. all the pressure in the world wouldve been on the cowboys. even as a 1 seed, the giants won both matchups in the regular season and would be more expected to win again. pressure is a little more even for both squads. against the Commanders though, all the pressure would be on all the kids on the top seeded squad.

Between the Giants defense and Aaron Rodgers, I don't know who I want.

I think if Lions lose tonight they upset Seattle. Maybe a little of that is what I want to happen but whatever.

Probably Rodgers to tell you the truth. The Pack's D isn't near as good as the Giants and Rod can deal with Rodgers and the Pack I believe. Gonna be interesting, but deep down I want to beat down the Gspots....we owe them.

I think GB wins tonight. I'd still want to face them over the Giants. Giants defense may be the best unit heading into the playoffs. Dallas can out score GB easily.

My order of preference:

1. Det
2. GB
3. NYG

None of the 3 would be easy. Regardless of opponent, the team better be ready to rev it up a notch. We'll need to play better than we have all year.

i wouls rather play the giants than a red hot Aaron Rodgers.
either one will probably beat dallas after what I saw in todays game.
If it is giants , they will be on a roll, after we got embarrassed in last game and took it easy for 2 weeks.

Dont forget this is JG's first bye and he will have to learn how to deal with it a few times before getting it right.

I went from thinking we would cruise to SB, to thinking one and done. and at best lose in nfc champ game.

NYG is my preference outside of maybe Detroit.

It's hard as hell to beat a team 3 times in 1 season (ironically, ask the 2007 Cowboys and Giants) and this team will come out hungry to knock off the one team that legitimately beat them this year. This isn't week one and it will be perfect weather.

Give me the Giants. Dak will have whatever looks they threw at him a few weeks ago nailed and the home crowd will make life miserable for Eli and the Giants' pop-gun offense.

Even if there's another awesome New York defensive performance, 17-20 points could get Dallas to the NFC Championship.

Because we protected our stars in a meaningless game? We did something that good teams tend to always do every season. It just so happens that we were the only team with everything locked up.

We could've rested everyone last week as well. Think of week 16 as our final game of the year and this week as practice.
