I was thinking the same thing...,when we get everybody back and have a nice rotation to keep everybody fresh...hopefully AB is ok and we get MO back in 3 weeks....plus continue to win the time of possession....might make this a true SB caliber defense.

LDE- DLawrence, DIrving
RDE- RGregory, BMayowa, CTapper
3T- TCrawford, MCollins
UT- CThornton, TMcClain

Need to flip Tank and Dino. Need to start the Wild Thing.

Also need to keep churning and trying to uncover the next Irving. Sign Shaneil Jenkins from Seahawks PS, Victor Ochi from Jets and Davis Tull from Falcons.

Considering they were missing 3 guys that log a good amount of snaps, and a 4th in McClain? I thought he got banged up, but seems like we only had about 4-5 guys in the rotation tonight.

Definitely did their job after the first half. Great effort.

I agree, but I would list it like this -

LDE - Tyrone Crawford, Irving, Tapper
1T - McClain, Thornton, some Irving
3T - Collins, Jack Crawford
RDE - DLaw, Mayowa, Gregory

I think Irving is capable of seizing one of the spots next year and pushing others to different spots. Also I don't count on Gregory for anything but him and Mayowa could be very good backups at RDE next year.

Also i wouldn't mind adding a RDE in the offseason and putting DLaw back at LDE where you have him.

Lawrence is terrible. I hope for his sake he's not making much next year because he's below replacement level.

Mine was more for next year...not really calling starters

I was surprised that we didn't try to resign Jenkins before he flew off to be a Seahawk. I'd sign all 3 if I could.

It was really more like 1.5 quarters. They shut them down after about the 8 minute mark in the 2nd quarter. The defense just came out asleep at the wheel. But when they woke up, they played very well.

Would sign Chris Culliver too with Mo and Brown out and Scandrick still not 100%. Leon McFadden has no business on active roster going into postseason.

And I assume you mean NT instead of UT, the under tackle is the same as 3 tech in a 4-3 under front. If this depth chart is in reference to next season then would move Tapper to LDE (strong side) and RDE would be our first rounder or big name FA. Would start McClain over Thornton too if re-signed, he earned it.
