And I assume you mean NT instead of UT, the under tackle is the same as 3 tech in a 4-3 under front. If this depth chart is in reference to next season then would move Tapper to LDE (strong side) and RDE would be our first rounder or big name FA. Would start McClain over Thornton too if re-signed, he earned it.
It is exactly what was presented.... a list of of our assets at DL going forward....you can make adjustments to suit your desires but those are 9 quality players

I agree, but I would list it like this -

LDE - Tyrone Crawford, Irving, Tapper
1T - McClain, Thornton, some Irving
3T - Collins, Jack Crawford
RDE - DLaw, Mayowa, Gregory

I think Irving is capable of seizing one of the spots next year and pushing others to different spots. Also I don't count on Gregory for anything but him and Mayowa could be very good backups at RDE next year.

Also i wouldn't mind adding a RDE in the offseason and putting DLaw back at LDE where you have him.

If Irving can continue to contribute I would like to move T. Crawford back to DT. That way when a QB steps up in the pocket he can be there.

What we do with Crawford is a big question for the offseason, his 2017 salary is 7.25MM and we could handle the cap hit if he was cut so the leverage is on the side of the Cowboys.

I could see them starting him at LDE or making him the backup 3T, or pretty much anything in between. Its definitely something to watch in the offseason.

TCrawford is too good to get cut and 7m is not a problem......he should be told what size to be though......either bigger for 3T or a little smaller and quicker for LDE

It looks like Dirving can make the bigger impact at LDE so I would move TCrawford inside and DLawrenceback to LDE to rotate with

Mayowa, RGregory and a possible FA or draft pick can handle RDE

I'm not saying Crawford will be cut, I'm saying the leverage is against him if the team wants him to restructure his contract. I think the most likely scenario is he plays LDE next year at his current salary, but its something the team has to decide on.

Lawrence is terrible. I hope for his sake he's not making much next year because he's below replacement level.

No training camp + bad back. He may be over-rated as well but we likely haven't seen his best this year.
