Oops I meant pressure. Sorry for the typo...I wouldn't want you to be my English Teacher..lol
Lol I'm horrible so trust me I wasn't calling you out. I actually thought you meant our offense needed to score more. Lol I was confused.

I was happy with the D Line, that group has worked hard and it is starting to show promise out there. This Dline is not going to be confused with teams like Vikes or Denver but given how they have played last season and early on this season, what I saw yesterday was a big improvement and a confidence builder. Just keep working guys

Cincy had to abandon the run when they got down a couple scores. If the pressure isnt better when all you have to do is worry about the pass, it never will be. Defense is much easier to play when you know what is coming.

True but then this defense held Cinn from even reaching the redzone until midway into the 4th qrt. Their play was not just about Cowboys jumping out to a 7 point lead and yes Cinn had to give up on the run but again they did not even come close to scoring for 3 qrts of play

we were playing with a lead and could run the ball to eat up time. Each time Cincy got the ball I felt they needed to pass to even have a chance. This makes the defense just feel free to rush the passer. Glad to see things pick up. But the team needs more points and better run defense and 3rd down defense in my opinion if we are going to win in this manner.
I agree with This. I do think Lawrence helped and guys stepped up and i expect that to continue - But i think a big factor was us playing with a good lead and putting pressure on them to be more one dimensional.

True but then Dallas did not start off with a 28 point lead. When the game was 7-0 Cinn could not even get into the Cowboys redzone, at 14-0 Cinn still could not do it.
Coming out of halftime Cinn still could not do anything and once again never reached the redzone. It was not until the midway in the 4th that Cinn even managed to get down to the Dallas 20 yard line.

I agree it is easier with a lead but to have a lead like that the defense had to do their part and they did

The biggest thing was all the stunts, stunts are like blitzes you do them too much and teams will scheme against it and burn you.

That all depends. Bengals are a man blocking scheme and stunting gives that scheme fits.

Bengals line has also been pretty bad this year. Tougher tests are on the horizon and in the rearview. The team is improving but I am not sure where they are yet. Irving returning will be a nice boon.
