Doomsday101;2865407 said:Fact is Spencer is an OLB with 4.5 sack no matter how you spin that it sucks and Had Ellis put up those number anyone with an ounce of sense would say it as well. Spencer to this point has shown little he is a 1st rd pick I kind of expect him to play like one and thus far he has not. His run stopping please the Raven ran back to back plays on him and he was knocked out of the play both times but everyone want to lay it on Hamlin who yes derserves to get called out as does Spencer. As I said I'm hoping Spencer has a great year and I have not given up on him but I'm not going to pretend he has been getting the job done he hasn't.
Doomsday101;2865183 said:I was all for drafting of Spencer and while I have not given up on him he needs to start producing. 4.5 sacks 2 years is lousy I don't care if you are sharing time as an OLB in a 3-4 he needs to get it going.

I guess this is another case of our fanbase whining about what they see is an overly critical media. I'd rather sift through the articles and make up my own mind than read any more of some people's whining about how they think the media is "out to get" the team. Things like that happen when you don't win when you are expected to.
