I had this injury last year and there are certain movements that are easier than others... like running straight forward or cutting to one side vs the other.. what is hard is stopping or planting with your heal or anything that causes a twisting action when your foot is planted. You kind of have to play like you are on snow or wet ground a little.. smaller steps and get your feet and body pointing in the same direction before you drive.

I expect TO to be fine.. run blocking and getting off the jam may actually be the hardest thing for him to do, but luckily he is very strong in his upper body, so that will help.

Did anyone ever think that maybe the sprain wasn't that bad to begin with? Honestly, he didn't appear to be in as much pain right after it happened as others who have experienced the dreaded "high ankle sprain".

Maybe he just twisted his ankle real bad in the normal way.

Recovery period: 1-2 weeks.

I don't remember TO limping earlier in the season. They sure as heck made it sound/seem like it was footage from Thursday's practice, which we heard was indoors.

I saw the coverage at about 12:30AM Pacific Time this morning, and it was a bit of a concern. Looked tender, but he was being careful on it, you could tell. If it was from early in the year, then it's all moot of course.
