Just a quick question: IF the SS is covering Marty B., who is covering Witten? A LB? A nickel back? Two TE set will require a nickel package? That is 6 men up front? Who is going to stop Barber? Who will be on the edge to stop Felix once Witten and Bennet run off the nickel and safety?

Imagine Bigg pulling on a 6 man front!
I just peed a little. :(

This guy Bennett can be a difference maker on this team. End of story. Sky is limit in terms of his talent and ability. If he can mature, and focus, and WORK, WORK, WORK, he can be as good as Witten, which would be amazing riches there at TE. I don't care if he is quirky or outspoken (as long as it doesn't majorly distract other players), but learn, learn, learn, and this guy just has skill by the ton. Harness this bugger hard and he can put this team over the top while we find out about WR depth/talent levels.

No the O Line what gonna drive the offense, as it goes the offense goes.

True, but besides the Oline, our matchups with Bennett/Felix will drive the offense.

Our base 2TE sets will be money.

Ed Reed.
Troy Polamalu.
Reed is a ballhawk...... Completely different kind of safety.
Polomalu could probably do it.
Sanders might, well if he's on the field.
Adrian Wilson could I guess.

Bennett reminds me of a young Antonio Gates with similar size and body build(though bennett is even taller.) We can all hope he matures to one day be a pro bowl tight end.

He reminds me more of a big tall wide receiver.

Some of the old timers might remember Harold Carmichael.

Thats how I see us using Bennett.

Well if he does go to a pro-bowl, it wont be in Dallas.

I'm sure some of the big hitting saftey's in the game can take him down but they will need a good line on him. The smaller CBs converted to play FS or SS will have issues :D
you're only going to take 'tellus down if you grab him by the legs, he's just too big and too tall to be tackled any way other than that, no safety is going to be able to hit him square, he's just too tall

he's a goofball off the field, but he's a Grade A baller on it

the draw is going to be nasty

I just hope it's not that weak crap they tried to pull last year

Ed Reed wouldn't stop Marty B, he'd likely just pick off the pass.

Polamalu is a serious athlete and a damn good linebacker playing safety.

Man, #80 went down today to what looked like he grabbed his ankle.....I nearly stopped breahing......he is a stud and the early MVP in training camp so far.

He really has played the best from a fans point of view.....and I have seen tons of Cowboy action over the years in training camps.

Never have I seen a player this big......and this much potential

A view Landry might as well get used to... the back of a Cowboy #80 jersey. :)
