We walked around the French Quarter today after having lunch at the Acme Oyster House and let's just say the fans here will be ready.

First things first, however, I bumped into ex-Cowboys kicker Martin Gramatica and was wondering if he was making a comeback. He said he is in town putting together an affordable housing unit. He said he bumped into Miles Austin a little earlier. Also saw Marshall Faulk and Steve Mariucci walking around Bourbon Street and last night Deion Sanders took in the Hornets-Nuggets game.

But back to these fans. There will be an electric atmosphere inside the Superdome. The fans have been "getting ready' for this game since the sun came up. And just about everybody is wearing a Saints jersey of some kind. One of the local TV stations is already airing a pre-game show and we are three-plus hours until kickoff.

For some light reading here is a Sean Payton story from the Times Picayune.

The 1972 Dolphins will be rooting for the Cowboys tonight as the Saints go for an undefeated season. They also have their eyes on Indianapolis' bid.

We just need to silence them right off the bat...score and stop them and then score again.

Believe me, even if by some miracle that happens, it would quiet that crowd one bit. It will rile them up just that much more.

When with the Queen come out?! Spotted on the town in Vegas for a double date was Robin Thicke and his wife Paula Patton and Queen Latifah and her girlfriend Jeanette. We all know (or at least speculate) that the Queen ain’t into Kings. Go’on and tell da troof Dana. Nuff said…
What she do behind closed doors ain't none of my business.

I just respect her work in the industry.

Very cool, hope no one throws up on you. Been there for a Superbowl, but never an aints game - understand that that it is the loudest venue in the league.

Interesting, Dallas needs a miracle to get stops against you?

Most arrogant group ever.

We have played in this exact environment before and won, in buffalo in 2007. We play every year in front of 90,000 in DC. The environment will play a role but it wont be anything new to this group.

If only he'd bumped into the Seattle defender on that botched snap.

I agree I am just confirming her title as the queen. :D

I mean no harm.

It will be somewhat satisfying when the Saints-Colts both make the Super Bowl undefeated and the 1972 Losers will have no one to root for.
