Colombo will give Dallas a discount price because they took a chance on him when other teams overlooked him... I believe they'll show him some love at the end.

That "discount" price stuff is silly. This is a business and Columbo may never have another shot at a big contract. If anything Jerry lets Columbo seek offers and asks him to give him a chance to match.

However, there were reports that Columbo was looking for a new deal and reports that Jerry had told him if he performed well in 2007 that would happen. That hasn't happened and doesn't look like it will - I fully expect that with Flo's contract we will look to save money on the right side -- McQ and Free and maybe Marten if he gets it together, are going to battle for that job in 2009.
