Just saw on ESPN that the titans submitted a complaint and included evidence. I am not sure if they filed something officially... but giving evidence assumes they want a guilty verdict.

haha thumper, i have done more than that with the cowboys;

1st; back in 1975 cowboys were missing field goals, i saw why, charley waters wasnt holding ball on fg attempts right, i sent a letter to tex schramn, he thanked me, next game charley had all fingers on the ball; no more missed fgs
2. i took a copy out of a book by red hickey, whom was a asst coach by landry, i drove to cowboys headquarters, gave the pages to john wooten, a few weeks after that, landry had the shotgun formation in dallas
3. i have sent the cowboys draft info on a few draftable players and yes the cowboys drafted some, in fact a couple after i sent them articles on the players, the cowboys sent scouts and coaches to look at that player, while drafting them later
4. sent in a few plays, and later a couple of them the cowboys used
5. one of my friends on this cowboys forum, i noticed something that was said on nfl network about a certain cowboy player giving away signal to a opposing defender so he could intercept the ball, my friend sent that to the cowboys

Finally, never underestimate what you can do; one game, that the cowboys had lost to the Commanders, when the cowboys had the tex schramn show. A fan called in and told tex that ne noticed that when robert newhouse would go out for a pass, he would unbuckle his chin strap. Jack Pardee whom was a player linebacker for the Commanders in that game, saw newhouse and would hollar out pass, pass,
So, tex schramn thanked the caller, and sure enough if you looked on film, when robert newhouse would go out for a pass to catch it, he would unbuckle his chin strap. Next game whether on pass or run, newhouse never would unbuckle his chin strap, (this story got to the media and they asked newhouse, he replied reason why he was unbuckling his chin strap, his helmet would keep him with the chin strap buckled harder to jump up and catch a pass) pardee saw this in the game as a key, and so did the fan, so never think that something you might do doesnt matter, it does.

I'm jealous. Jerry Jones never does anything I suggest. :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

Cowboyjoe... Was it you who told Gil Brandt, Rod Hill was a great young talent, Danny Noonan wasn't on steroids and Stepfret Williams was sure to gain weight in an NFL training program.

Weren't you the one who told Danny White the Commanders were ripe for a fake on 4th down in the second game in 1982 Barry Switzer to run on 4th down twice against Philly, weren't you responsible for the Cowboys failing to drink pickle juice, and didn't you tell Bill Parcells Vinnie Testaverde could burn the clock with a handoff to Richie Anderson against Pittsburgh and Drew Bledsoe could still avoid the Giant rush.

If not you who?, i didnt tell them about those players but 2 of them i sent info on they did draft;
only things i mentioned is what i did tell them

I'm not trying to call you a liar or anything, but I find some of those hard to believe. A fan giving info on draftable players? There are scouts for that. Sending in plays for a playbook? If you really did get all these things done, I congratulate you. But it seems hard to fathom that any fan is going to have that much impact on the team.

I understand what your saying, in response to that, what i did now if you read between the lines was over a 20 year span, from 1975 to last year, what year span that is. And yes, I did send in a few plays and i did copy 2 pages out of red hickeys book he wrote and gave it to john wooten all pro offensive guard who gave it to tom landry, in fact landry called red hickey into his office that offseason about 2 weeks after i gave the package to wooten and told red hickey that he wanted him to work with roger staubach and groom him for the shotgun formation, anyway, back to john wooten that played for the browns in his hay day, but was an asst for the cowboys. I also met golden richards while i was up there, and met mrs tom landy in the elevator as i was going up to the cowboys floor.

now this was done over a 20 something year span, my main point is this; just like the cowboy fan that called in and told about robert newhouse to tex schramn, you can make a difference. Its just like the play when roy williams intercepted a pass from mcnabb, and you could hear dat nyugen holloering pass pass on the field, or something like that, that set up roy williams to be where he was suppose to be.

Just like great defenders like jack pardeee they look for keys in the game, from the offensive players, or like when i saw charley waters would hold the ball for a field goal, when he put the ball down to be kicked, his top index finger would come off the ball and his 4th finger, the ball would lean one way or the other right before the kicker kicked the ball, cant remember the kickers name but he was mexican at the time. Anyway, charley waters would look up at the goal posts right before the kicker kicked the ball. I wrote tex schramn and gil brandt; tex said he would look at it, and they gave me better season tickets that year too.

so, you can make a difference, im not and i will admit it, real knowledgable like hostile or dc or theebs or jerry that have played the game etc, but i do care and love the dallas cowboys. One of the players that i sent info on to the cowboys, 4 days later they sent a scout there to check him out, and he stayed with the cowboys as a cb for 2 to 3 years, and later released. another player that i sent them info on, they checked him out, and he only played 2 years, but he did get into some trouble.

but you can make a difference thats my main point,

Cowboyjoe's avatar alone gives him a tremendous amount of credibility in my book. That much respect for the Star and the man who made it - I have no trouble believing Cowboyjoe's cool stories.

Once upon a time, after all, football was about the game and the fans...

thanks, yep, i really love landry, and i didnt know this until 30 minutes ago, but one of the mistakes that landry said he made, was that he should have drafted joe namath

i couldnt believe that when i heard it, but yep, was said, i think what landry meant was he should have drafted namath instead of craig morton, but if landry had done that, the history with staubach wouldnt have worked

i think what landry meant was, namath could have taken over for danny don meredith and may have been enough to beat green bay in those early mid years;
