Releasing Crosslin verifies that Cricket isn't hurt like someone reported earlier...

the emergency QB doesnt go change in the locker room after the 2 guys in front of him get hurt.

Whatever this is supposed to mean, my point was that McGee is no longer hurt and now scout team duties can be transferred to the 3rd string QB (as normal). Carpenter is not needed for that role unless the Cowboys see potential to develop further.

Does it really matter anyway? Crosslin is the one who was released.

Cricket blowing up the giant's D all Sunday night killed Crosslin.

He looks like he plays to his scouting report -- not especially fast or elusive but runs aggressively north-south and finishes runs well.

Would you say, in your opinion that he is a good trade over Crosslin considering his chances of seeing the field?

I sure would 12obert. I hate to say it, but.....Felix isn't known for his durability either so.......they had to do this. He looks like a pretty powerful guy, and can play special teams....good upgrade over Crosslin IMO.
