Cowboys expect Glenn to go Sunday

T.O. is a no go this week, but the Cowboys expect to use a thirtysomething receiver against the Commanders. The goal is for Terry Glenn, who has had two arthroscopic knee surgeries since the start of training camp, to make his season debut.


How do the Cowboys plan to use Glenn?


"As a wide receiver," Wade Phillips said, pausing for courtesy laughter from reporters. "Split him out and throw it to him."


On a serious note, Phillips said Glenn wouldn't play a maximum amount of snaps, but they'd like to get the ball in his hands and let him get back in a rhythm.
