Does anyone think we could maybe package some picks (since we have 11) and go get a first or an early second round pick?

I don't want to speculate where we will make trades...could do things like move up in the fifth to get a player we want.

BUT I will say that there is no WAY we draft 11 guys. We don't have 11 open roster spots and there aren't going to be more than 2 or 3 vets cut. I think we will end up making about 6-7 picks.

...at least concerning an early second....but I'd guess we'd lose the quite a bit in doing so.

IMO, it's only worth it if someone of incredible value drops WAAAAYYY down. If not, I'd only be interested in moving up a few spots to pick someone we were targeting. But that's just me.

Agreed. Hopefully JJ has or will be making some calls to teams in the early second to trade with. Personally I'd not try to move up too far and conserve the picks. One more pick and we'll have a dozen. Remember the Dirty Dozen?
