no I don't get what your saying explain it
Okay, I'll try, but I doubt that you can make me any promises. It started with:

Witten as a WR might allow us to keep Hannah on the 53.
To which you replied:

they will just use him in the slots not actually move him to WR.
Dogberry never intended for anyone to interpret his comment of "Witten as a WR" to mean that... PRESTO! CHANGE-O! ...perennial all-pro Jason Witten would be converted into a wide receiver. He was only stating how Witten would be used in certain situations. With the possibility that Witten would be used more as a
tight end with the responsibilities of a
wide receiver during certain plays, it presented the possibility that the staff would consider shoring up depth at tight end. Still, I wanted to see what exactly
you were thinking, so I asked you for clarification by asking:

umm...
What's the big difference between a 'slot receiver' and a 'wide receiver'?
Would it surprise you to see Witten split out wide?
I took the chance that you may
not have come to the realization that Witten could
motion before the snap of the ball and position himself just like a
wide receiver, run routes dedicated to
wide receivers and use his physical advantages to create
mismatches with cornerbacks like... say...Antonio Gates--which, again, is what dogberry was inferring originally. However, you replied:

no, the guy made it seems like witten would become a WR so keeping Hannah as a 4 TE would be justified.
Which is a stunning conclusion, to say the least. Unfortunately, dogberry never insinuated that Barbara Eden would morph Witten into a wide receiver, only that he would be utilized as one enough so that depth at tight end could become questionable.
Clear now?
