First Romo threw to TO too often.

Now TO is gone and he threw to his TE's too often.

Flavor of the week I tell ya.

Romo had a 66.9 percent completion rate when throwing to Witten, and he averaged 7.9 yards per attempt when throwing to Witten.

He had a 74.1 percent completion rate when throwing to Bennett, and he averaged 10.5 yards per attempt when throwing to him.

Those numbers mean that defenses did a terrible job stopping Romo from throwing to his tight ends.
I think the numbers also show the decent job defenses did against the WRs not named you know who. Let's hope they can do better now.

Bennets numbers are inflated from meaningless catches that distort his averages.

With that said, Romo throws to his TEs only because he has to. Our WRs can't get any separation, and our offensive line gives him very little time to get comfortable in the pocket.

When Romo has time, he throws one of the best balls in football. But its hard when you're checking for blitz, identifying backers - all the while worrying about a shotgun snap that is never on target.

Our most inconsistent unit has been our offensive line. With our WRs coming in a close second.

Romo smiles too much
NO
hes too serious

MY gosh, just going by the posts around here, seems Romo cant do anything right and is completely incompetent. We're lucky Tony can at least stand up right, or did someone already criticize that?

Too bad it didn't lead to wins. So maybe it's time to throw it to someone who's opened, spread the ball around like everyone keeps saying, maybe this cast of over achievers can get something done this year.
