Drew Rosenhaus shops his wide receivers except ...

According to the Newark Star-Ledger, agent Drew Rosenhaus is shopping several of his clients.

Rosenhaus sent an e-mail to all 32 NFL teams saying clients Arizona's Anquan Boldin, Cincinnati's Chad Johnson and the Giants Plaxico Burress are available for a trade.

One Rosenhaus client who was not on the e-mail was the Cowboys Terrell Owens. Now, Owens might get cut, that's purely speculation on my part, I don't think it will happen, but hey, who knows.

If Rosenhaus was worried about Owens' status with the club I wonder if he would have put his name in the e-mail. But the facts are Owens wants to stay in Dallas and maybe Rosenhaus received some assurances that the wide receiver will play the 2009 season in Jerry's World.

I have a hard time believing that Jerry is going to eat $9 million to have TO not play this year.

Has TO violated the NFL Personal Conduct Policy???
---------not to my knowledge------

Has TO been arrested???
-------not to my knowledge------

Has TO rapped in a YouTube video using racial slurs???
------------not to my knowledge-------

So what exactly has TO done that warrants the team eating over $9 million in a cap hit to have TO not play with the team this year???

The money has nothing to do with it.

Even if it didnt cost Jerry anything - HE STILL would NOT cut TO.

As far as Rosenhaus. I dont get the hate for this guy. If I was a athlete - he would be my agent. Period.

Very true. He is probably one of the best player agents in the business, imo.

Trade TO for Boldin! :p:

I'd rather trade Owens to move up for Crabtree. But that would've been possible had we still kept our 1st, 3rd, and 6th picks.

Why would you do that? Boldin is young and a proven playmaker, Crabtree hasn't proven anything on the NFL level! Thats like winning the lottery and then spending the whole thing on more lottery tickets.

I'm pretty high on Boldin but I'd be willing to bet a case of beer that Michael Crabtree is going to be an absolute stud in this league. And from what I've heard we were very high on Crabtree.

I think he will too, but Boldin is an absolute stud now. I just don't risk it if I have the choice today. In three years and Crabtree turns out equal to Boldin, I take him because he is younger.

He opened his mouth and complained. In todays game that is all you have to do to be a giant distraction and bad for the team. The days when you had to be a criminal, and a piece of crap off the field, to be thought of as a bad guy and player are over.

I agree, totally, on Rosenhaus. The dude is a stud at his job. He's the only guy I'd want as my agent.

And just look at that list of clients right there, and that's only 3 of them, and think about the money that dude is making.

WOW.

Exactly!!! last season was the quietest he's ever been...if the 9 million wasn't an issue, who know's.....people are eating off of the media's menus...i really wish that wasn't true. It's like they are trying to force jerry's hand.

Crabtree looked good when I saw him play. But I saw him on NFL Network standing next to Deion and Jerry Rice and he looked small. Noticeable small. I guess we'll see what happens on the pro level because I've never heard him described as "explosive" and lacking the size..... We'll see.

Well at last Watkins admits that it's "purely speculation" that makes up the bulk of his article... FANTASTIC "journalism"

What's the point of even bringing up TO may be cut if you don't think it will happen. Or you have nothing to support the idea. That's part of the problem the media just running with basically nothing.

Its not about what he has or has not done. Its about him being a fit for the team.

Hey, Emmitt Smith never did anything remotely close to what TO has done in the past and Jerry watched Emmitt play in Arizona.

If Jerry thinks the team is better by subtracting all the soap opera BS that follows TO, he will cut the man. Money won't stop him because winning more games without TO makes more money than winning less games with TO.

I'm gonna take a stab and say that if Dallas were to host a playoff game, Jerry would make more than 9 million dollars.

The media put that out there and some "fans" grab on and run w/ it like it were written in stone fact.

It's amazing how sports reporting has basically become little more than tabloid trash w/ a few stats thrown in here and there.

The Emmitt Smith situation is far different: he and Parcells were not going to gel; Parcells had to be the man in the lockerroom, and that would have been far different with Smith here. And Emmitt's production was well in decline as well. Owens, somewhat, but not nearly as drastic.

The money angle is worth something, but not enough to bet the house on, IMO. And 9 million on a playoff game doesn't affect the salary cap for that season; it's 2010 that's aiming for the uncapped year.

Just a thought...

If you are going to dream, DREAM BIG. Trade Owens AND Roy11 for Larry Fitzgerald.

Then sign Austin long term. Now THAT is a dream.
