He is far from done. In the right system he can thrive. You put him with a Bellicheck or Lebeau and he owns.

I'm going with done. Not enough quickness and he has lost his agressiveness several years back.

I'm not sure exactly what you think Bellichick or Lebaeu are going to do with him because in their systems safeties have to cover people.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE tell me we're not going to have a whole lot of Roy threads when he's on another team.

Please.

Now, that fate has intervened and he's no longer a Cowboy (thank goodness), can we please focus on COWBOY players who actually perform for the team?

Unless he finds a new work ethic and totally rededicates himself: I'll take that bet.
It was his newfound devotion to Christianity that robbed him of his on-field aggressiveness.

He flip-flopped after saying this, but he once said that he "stopped playing angry" after he re-dedicated himself to Christ.

Too bad he had to screw over his employer, coaches, and teammates in the process of finding his religion. Reggie White juggled both roles pretty well.

If there is a phrase I could stand to never hear again its "move Roy closer to the line of scrimmage and... "

Remember when Parcells was going to put him in position to be successful?

Remember 4 years later when Wade was going to do the same?

I wish Roy well and I suspect he truly does still have a role in this league but I think his Pro Bowl days are done.

He gets into the Pro Bore on reputation, he will probably make several more Pro Bore appearances while playing like absolute crap.

Why do I believe Woy but not Rosenhaus?

No kidding.

I've never seen Woy but if I had to guess, Rosenhaus would win a "who looks slimier" poll between the two. Something about that car salesman smile (no offense to car salesmen).

I bet they are all bottom feeders, dont see any good teams that want a safety that is scared to death of having to cover a TE and hopes before the snap that the QB does not look his way.

After Roy said that , I would have cut his cowardly arse the next day.
