I told y'all. I told y'all. Everyone was raggin on Flo and crying like little girls:"oh he cant do that, he cant push somebody in football, oh he is going to hurt some one, oh he should be suspended"...shut up. I told y'all this was the case (the way flo described it) and still the ding dongs continued..."suspend him Jerry suspend him Jerry"...whatever. Flo is the best I hope he starts here another 5 years and those of you that hate him and hate that he starts here, I hope it ruins the game for you every time you see him.

Wow. That is hard to believe. Especially in light of the fact it said "TUCK" on that jersey right in front of his face.

In my entire football career I never once took notice of a player's name on the back of a jersey during a play.

Now numbers is a different story but not names. Most teams refer to key players by number for that reason... numbers are easier to see and on both sides of the jersey.

I wouldn't do anything deliberately to hurt another player or take anyone out.

Yet you have repeatedly taken off your helmet and swung it at other players when you lose your cool. Here is a link to the last time I remember it happening.

I have defended this guy for years because he is one heck of a Tackle. I have excused the false starts because of his partial deafness but I don't like having dumb people on the team anymore.

Flozell, even though your an amazing talent, you do really stupid things at the dumbest times and hurt this team.

You barely hear the crowd noise, it is weird.

When I played I didn't hear crowd noise at all. I was tuned in to my teammates and my coaches, and that was that. The only time I really paid attention to the crowd was when the game was over.

It's really weird in basketball too, because the gym is more enclosed and closer-quarters. Same thing though - I didn't hear crowd noise until after a win.

There might be that rare occasion that you're out there playing and someone in the crowd says something so distinct that it gets through. Other than that you're right - it is weird.

What a sob excuse if you ask me. Just admit you dont like tuck and you and Him have beef. End of story no need to sugar coat it and act like peaches and cream. Admit you pushed HIm and triped him and you wouldnt take anything back.

So, I gather you can hit players in the back once possession changes your side to defense on a kick return? I don't know the rule.

I can see not paying attention to the name or number on a blue jersey if you're trying to hit a guy and locate the ball carrier at the same time, for what that's worth.

My understanding is they can not call a personal foul in that situation and are looking to change the rule in the off season.

Of course you don't.....you're absolutely right.

That's how I remember it. When you were really in the zone you picked up on what was going to happen before people were barley moving. I do remember it seemed quiet. When the play was over, then I would hear the crowd.

If his story is legit, I doubt he's reading the jersey

Yeah. Nevermind the huge flippin' digits plastered on the front and the BACK of it. After all, he see's it up-close and personal 100-120 times a season.

FTR - I still see it as a ticky-tack call.

Not like Tuck went careening into the sidelines or had his helmet removed via the blow. He's a ****-bag, smack talker and prolly deserved worse............. But to read the posts defending it with such fevor deems it a classless act.

Flo grasped an opportunity and it was caught by the camera.
'tummy-Tuck" would've done the same, which is neither here nor there.

The guy did start to run it out of the end zone and then the refs blew it dead a few seconds later. I believe Flozell.

I do too. He's been in the league many years and I never remember anything remotely like this from him. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that it was just one of those things.

..............twice already. This makes it 3? It happens. I don't care. But he has done it more than once. I still don't care but it's doesn't deserve 'remotely' or 'one of those things' Just sayin'.

I don't know whether I do or not -- however it is a plausible story

Especially since Adams isn't used to being on any kind of kick coverage team.

Just because he says this one instance is "just one of those things" doesn't mean he's saying the previous instances were as well.

I think it's much ado about nothing in this case. Almost every single play in the NFL is followed up with some pushing/shoving, though it's usually not out in the middle of the field without anyone else around.

not sure i buy that to be honest. for what its worth i can definately believe the bit about not knowing it was tuck. obviously i've never played american football but i have played football, rugby and swam competitively and on the whole you don't tend to take in individual opposition due to being caught up in the game, speed of it and concentrating on the ball. amplify all of those to a professional level and add in the guy wearing a helmet and i can readily believe that you don't distinguish very readily between them.

Big freakin' deal - he pushed someone in the back. It's not like he kicked him in the nads. The fine was too big and the league is turning into a sissy league.

I don't believe a word of it. I agree with the fine and I hope that Flo has the good sense not to trip, kick or push anybody else in the back for the rest of the season. I also hope we get Colombo back quickly because he knows how to 'play through the whistle' without getting caught.

Sloppy excuse from a sloppy player. Hopefully he stays on the straight and narrow for the remainder of the season.
