DMN Blog: Giants cornerback: Cowboys passing game 'doesn't concern us'

HE is probably a lot more upset that Roy is producing now then the fact that the team is 1-4.

no I am upset that it takes a WR three years to become used to a QB

when we all know it should be the other way around

In 25 regular season games with Romo Williams has caught just 57 of the 128 balls that have come his way.

yea I rather have RW's with out a catch than have us 1-4

Seems more like the OC has finally figured out what Roy does well and is having him do it; and that Roy and Romo have finally connected.

That's a misleading headline from the DMN. He didn't say our passing game didn't concern them, he merely said that which receivers were out there didn't concern them.

Opposing teams have been doubling up Austin, leaving Williams free to make big plays.

"We're not going to be able to double team players in certain positions and we'll line up mano-a-mano and I look forward to that," Thomas said. "We're corners. We're built for that. We're used to being on the island.

"It doesn't matter who they have out there. It doesn't concern us."

It's still a dumb thing to say. Which means they won't be watching film to look out for certain tendencies our WRs have.

But we need all the breaks we can get, so let them continue to talk nonsense.

I bet our OL is concerned about their front 4. Heck even Canty might get a sack this week

Don't you be fooled either, I bet their OL is concerned with our front 7. We get after the QB very well also.. Don't sleep!!!

Miles is carrying that football like a loaf of bread in that picture.

doubtful -

Well he's big, not fast, not great feet. Not running great routes and really not a practice guy and practice is where you find timing.

Just look at Roy's stats. Only one 1000+ yard season.

Roy Williams is like most every other player that comes out of Texas. He underachieved in college, and hasn't done much in the NFL to warrant giving up 2 high draft picks.

Will someone please tell Roy to quit doing that stupid hand signal after scoring a touchdown. That was probably well received by the orange pukes in Austin, but you're representing America's Team now, Roy!!

well never liked him in college - overated
an sure thought Matt Millen would have kept him
And sure don't like our NO 3 WR making 5 Mil a year

overrated player IMO

Yeah, who the heck is Terrell Thomas? You just wait bro.

Embrace my sig.

Well hopefully the O-Line rises to the occassion, gives Romo time, and then Mr. Thomas will certainly be concerned about what to do while all 3 of the top Dallas WR's take turns roasting him.

They can line up in man coverage because they are killing QBs with their pass rush. I think this is our toughest opponent so far this year. The Giants looked awful to start the year, but they've been looking like SB contenders recently, and their defense has been among the top in the league.

We'll find out Sunday whether our OL has just been playing poorly and are capable of helping our team win games or if our OL is seriously pathetic...because the Giants will expose them if they're no good.

Personally, I think this game will determine our fate for the rest of the season, and not just because we win or lose...I think how we handle the Giants defense will tell us all we need to know, not about our coaches or leaders, but simply about the ability of our current OL to compete.

might see about 10 draw plays and a asorts of screens monday night. We might be in for a long one. This one might go down to the wire, the team that makes the critical mistake at a bad time loses. Hopefully its not us this time:mad:
