True. He should've just said, "I got caught up in our winning a game and I didn't think about the innernets capturing some things I said to a radio station 3,000 miles from Dallas. It was stupid, and I wish I hadn't said those things. But I did, and I can't take them back now."

We better not lose this game after all this, "We're going to kill them" talk... But you know, Martz can move the ball on almost anyone. We'll hit Kitna because Martz doesn't protect his QB, but we're going to give up some passes -- I hope everyone knows that.:

Nice try but it will fly right over certain fans head;)

How much do you think James would pay Stewart to call a few MLB blitzes??

hahaha.

And how much would you pay to hear what our defense says to Kitna after he gets sacked or knocked down?

Our pass defense has been getting criticized a lot this season by many here (myself included).

But the reality of it is, they have been extremely efficient. And its a result of teams throwing a lot against us.

This game will be an excellent test for our secondary. They know they are going to get thrown at a lot. Its up to them to continue to make plays and hold the offense to less than efficient results.

I'm with you, I've been on the secondary pretty hard all season but they've done a very good job (Save the Pats game) of giving up many big plays as well as making stop stops.

The thing I noticed against the Packers was that the Lions did a good job of using their backs outta the backfield, especially former Cowboy Aveion Cason, on passes.

It's the intermediate stuff that should be the concern, if any...Otherwise, I think they should be able to stay on Calvin Johnson who hasn't had the production many people thought...He's dropped some easy passes from what I saw in the GB alone.

When you are cornered, always blame media or "taken out of context" thing.

That's what Dallas fans said about T.O. after he became a Cowboy.

How funny it is that Cowboys fans NOW believe the media and think Kitna's comments were an accurate representation of what was reported by newspapers and by radio. :laugh2:

I don't think you'd find a lot of Cowboy fans who would claim TO had been taken outta context before he got to Dallas...There are, of course, plenty of people who would shoot down a lot of blather regarding TO since he's been here...Moreover, the evidence on Kitna is far more compelling than the blurbs they try to take outta context with TO...Let's face it, TO used to be a media frenzy waiting to happen everytime he opened his mouth...He's clearly learned...Kitna, on the other hand, hasn't yet

I got a feeling that #56 will find a nice warm home for his left foot. Unfortunately for John, I heard James wears a pretty big shoe.

I never said that about T.O. after he was a Cowboy. In fact, I was still pissed at him all of last year. He still does stupid things, like at the eagles game, flapping his hands; that could have easily been flagged as taunting, because that is what it was. Anyway, after that deal with the star, T.O. was my most hated player in the NFL, and when he joined the Eagles it all seemed to fit, since I hate the Eagles the most. I've forgiven him this year; he's on probation for good behavior ;) ... But one of my all time favorite Cowboys moments is when George Teague layed into him. That my friend will never change. :) I miss Teague too.

Brady James needs to take a page out of Chad Johnson's book and come out with "Clueless Outthere" taped over his name durring warm-ups.

I kinda believe him. Anyone who says TNew is "no Marcus Trufant" is either kidding or off his rocker.

To me I don't think any it really matters. I expect the Defense to get after Kitna or any QB we face regardless of what he has said good or bad. Does anyone really think Ware and the rest of the defense would take it easy on Kitna had he said a bunch of great things about Newman and Brady? I don't the mission is still the same, get to the QB and put him on his butt.

True enough. But it kind of makes using a forearm to deliver a blow to the facemask, and the likely 15 yrd penalty, a little easier to justify when you got a 1/2-aced QB, w/ a big mouth lined-up in your sights.

Wade had our players sign a contract not to committ stupid penalties I expect the players to hold up that end of the deal. All this talk does is help players maintain focus during the week once the game is under way it all comes down to execution. Dallas is not going to take it easy on Kitna nor any other QB no matter what that player said.

Really? So the popcorn to the facemask, that by all rights, Owens should have been flagged on, was what?

Wow! First he was taken out of context and Sunday he will be taken out on a cart.

Nice job Kitna.
